  2. silicone. they are safe for up to 450 degrees in a cooking scenario so I could see that working. I assume it wouldnt be hot as fuck like literally right after dabbing but rather a couple minutes after, but still too hot to touch or put in a pelican case or something.

could be a neat idea. whats your situation rig-wise? like is it a pocket rig? domeless or domed nail? I like domed nails for on-the-go dabbing so you can just put the dome on and put it back in the case or whatever. plus they cool down faster anyway.

  4. Get an altoids can

  5. I use a tiny glass jar, it's real thick and I can drop a red hot nail into it and I won't feel any heat for awhile. It never gets hot.
Or just let it cool down and grab it with a folded up sock and leave it in that.
I pretty much use socks to carry and store everything from pipes to domes to weed to oil. Is that weird? I did it as a kid and never grew out of the habit. It just works so well.

  6. I found a neat gizmo called a "nail crown". Its pretty much a giant silicone crown that you can use to hold your hot nail, or just put it over your hot nail while its on a rig so you don't risk burning yourself during those high moments. A website for them is pretty hard to find last I checked.
