  1. My scale broke and I need to make butter. I usually work in grams but can work in oz.  How many oz equal 1 cup. If you have 4 cups of all purpose flour you will get 1 lb if you have 2 cups sugar that will equal 1 lb. I am not talking about fluid oz. I used one cup shake to 2 sticks butter and it smells and taste good but I do not want to waste other ingredients if it is going to be mediocre. If someone tell what a cup weighs

  2. I googled "1 cup butter weight" and got
    1. \t\t227 grams

    2. \tIf you know a cup of butter weighs 8 ounces, you could do the math yourself: 1 ounce = 28.34 grams, so one cup of butter weighs 227 grams.
