Tomatoes are very sensitive to nitrogen. I've had some show some pretty nasty curling from putting in soil that grows cannabis without a hitch. They also really like the calcium and some magnesium. So pick up some lime and gypsum. Other than those little differences, it's basically the same.
As the previous responses imply, you totally can. Like Anatman said, there are significant differences in details of growing between tomatoes and cannabis. However, generally speaking, if you can grow decent buds, you can probably grow decent tomatoes as well.
