LF suggestion for a bud vape

Discussion in 'Vaporizers' started by jaladhjin, Apr 24, 2015.

  1. So I'm in North Dakota & we don't get a lot more than actual bud here very often.. & when we do people around here don't know or care what oil / hash / anything but bud is..

I'm lookin' for something clean & classy looking..

Volcano is out & so is any vape with a giant bag like that.. that isn't classy.. haha

I've also heard talk about there being 3 Cs when it comes to vaporizing..

Convection.. I'm not sure the second one.. & Combustion which is apparently the one no one wants since it's smoke at that point..

  2. Herbalizer is an aesthetically pleasing vaporizer.

  3. I'd agree but lawdy that price tag o_O

I suppose there comes a point where portability doesn't exist for vapes that'll do actual bud either huh..

Theres lots of portables that can vape actual bud. If you are looking at classy in portability, i would look into the Mighty or Crafty vaporizers by Storz and Bickel.

  5. Classy and portable...how about checking out the arizer air, mflb, pinnacle pro, pax 2, mighty, crafty, firewood, or firefly. Classy desktop...how bout a log vape, extreme q, silver surfer, plenty, cloud evo, or herbalizer.

It's hard to recommend a classy vape because it's all subjective. I just listed a variety of different vapes all at different price points. Research them on fuck combustion, it's a great place to start.

  6. portable or desktop. within 50 dollar price range you want to be in. and any other specific needs

    thank yuh all [IMG]

I guess by classy & portable all I really meant was not a lot of steps to it.. gettin' bags pluggin' shit in puttin' it together.. or some homegrown lookin' frankenpiece which sure.. is rad & has character all it's own but.. not what I'm lookin' for at this particular point in time [IMG]

I may not be able to avoid the plugging in if I don't want so portable it's requiring a torch it seems huh.. sooo I could mebbe stand for that..

I'm not unreasonable I just don't want to be giving someone a damn project every time they want to use it :)

  8. I thought you were looking for class??

Nothing says classy like overpriced technology

  9. for what the herbie does its not overpriced imo. Of course kt could be cheaper but I am more then happy with what I got.

  10. I am happy with it too. I was only half serious about it being overpriced. I have made the money back in savings from conserving weed anyway.

Instant heat up time, bags, whips, water attachments, dry herb, concentrates, it really does do it all.

Plus their customer service has been excellent to me.

I think I might be spoiled because it was my first vape.

  11. When I think classy looking, I don't think plastic. That's not to say all the vapes mentioned so far aren't kick as performers. Can't go wrong with a S&B product or an Herbie. But, I'm speaking strictly about aesthetics.

In my humble opinion, the best combo of performance and looks are log vapes.

Exotic hand turned woods. Great flavor via convection. Great economy with the small loads you can use. And the versatility to be used dry or with a bubbler or Bong. They hit hard too with a very short learning curve. They can even be used for aroma therapy.

I mean how can you not think, "I would totally leave these things out around my house and admire them."

  12. I use the Silver Surfer vape. It is a whip style, so no bags, very durable, very sleek, and it has glass knobs, wands, etc. that you can switch out for a custom look. Also, if you don't mind what colors you get, you can get a scratch and dent for under $200 bucks! Great vape in my opinion.

  13. damn I didn't know that... if that was my first vspe I would be so spoiled lol

  14. I PM'ed lwein and asked what vape he would get if money wasn't a condition. He gave me a thorough list and I fell in love with the Herbalizer.

I almost went for the subliminator but it looked way too complicated for my first vape I still don't even know how they work haha.

  15. not my thing tbh, hot metal parts to can cause severe burns and conduction ?I'm good lol
That reminds me I need to clean the screens for the herbie bowl.. performance is dipping a tad

  16. The herbalizer is the only vape you'll want if you ever get the chance to try one out. The instant heat up time is what makes this the best on the market.

It is absolutely worth the price you pay. The simple operation and intuitive controls make it extremely easy to start using. There's hardly any learning curve at all.

You can use it to vape herb and oil

Both statements are incorrect.     While I agree that the Herbalizer is a great vaporizer, there are many over at FC who have retired theirs in favor of others.   So to say that if they tried it out, it would be the only one they'd want is false.

Also, there is much more that goes into a vaporizer than just fast or instant heat up times.   Instant heat up times does NOT make ANY vaporizer the best on the market.

  18. it sure helps bring able to hear up to 445 in less than 10sec :D

  19.
Especially compared to the Mini, eh?   Unfair comparison, I know, but still................
