CBD oils/vaping (no thc) advice?

So after being pleased with a high CBD and super low THC strain, I'm trying to find ways to get high CBDs with no THC. I have many chronic conditions, several of them very painful, and so far the CBDs seem to be helping.
But honestly I'd prefer to get the relief on a daily basis while staying sober as the THC high and my anxiety + nerve pain apparently don't play well together. Plus I'm hoping to be well/stable enough by the end of the year to work- and if not I'll be seeking disability- and don't want to pop on drug tests either way.

Does anyone have any expirence or advice on this? Is vaping the oil better, or ingesting? Apparently it's legal to buy online now, but I'm skeptical about the saftey and legitimacy of buying online. Especially harmful ingreedients or brands that BS about the CBD concentration in their products.

I'm in Washington but don't have a medical card (yet, lack of funds currently). If I got a medical card does anyone know if despensaries carry CBD oils (with no THC) that can be ingested or vaped? If not are there any particular sites or brands that you'd reccomend as reputable?

Any advice on this would me most welcome! Thank you! [IMG]

  2. seems as if you are dismissing the medicinal benefits of THC

  3. thc sort of worsens my anxiety in some strains. could be a terpene thing but cbd is a godsend. i have muscle spasms and tmj and high cbd melts them away without freaking me out. oregon dispensaries carry high cbd oil and i find it as effective smoked as sublingual. very fast acting medicine.

  4. I'm not, I would smoke higher THC stuff if I could! Last few time I did I had a very very bad reaction! Right now I can only handle the 0.7% THC stuff, and even that can trigger nerve pain with me. For what reason, I have no idea. It also makes my anxiety worse over the long term. (Every group therapy I've been to everyone agreed that it makes it worse long term for them, so I guess it's a pretty common thing.) I can only toke once a week for those reasons, and I'd like to be able to get the CBDs more often than that.
I also don't know how long I'll have access to something that low in THC. Plus as I said I need to find something without it, that still can help, by the end of the year as I'll have to pass drug tests. Believe me I'd toke all day every day if I could ;)

I also have muscle spasms, I'm in physical therapy trying to help my pelvic floor dysfunction but there's only so much that can do! The high CBDs seem to be helping so that is one of the reasons I'm asking about it here! Thanks for responding :) I will call around and see if any dispensaries here carry it, if so it would be worth getting my medical card! And thanks for letting me know it works well used as sublingual!

  5. Just a heads up, no cannabis or cannabis extract in any form will ever be completely devoid of THC. Even CBD strains have low amounts of THC in them. The only way you can get pure CBD oil is from an industrial hemp extract. This, unfortunately, doesn't quite have the same benefits that actual cannabis extract does. CBD is just one cannabinoid and isolating it just doesn't work, for the same reason that synthetic THC didn't work. Every cannabinoid within the cannabis plant plays off of each other. The synergistic, or "entourage", effect is not fully understood but it's there. You just aren't getting the same medical benefits as you will with that small shot of THC and other naturally occurring cannabinoids.

Unfortunately, even in small amounts, you may fail a drug test. And, if you have issues with anxiety and spasm, you need to stick to plants with typical indica effects. You can't classify everything by indica and sativa, but you can certainly classify their effects. You need something mellow and relaxing. I'd highly recommend getting a medical card and getting some guidance from your local collective.

  6. Thank you for that! Upon further research I see that you're right. Whelp, so much for the idea of using it right up until. That's alright though. In the mean time, I'd still like to have something super low so I can have relief while having a clear head. I think I'm going to steer clear of the hemp extracts, I've read they're really not good. And the hemp is usually grown in china will all kinds of heavy metal and pesticides- yuck!

For anyone else also looking for these kinds of products-
After scouring the net I found a really good seller of high CBD products, that's gotten a lot of high praise and lots of recommendations! Right now you have to sign up for their members-only website (I got a membership conformation in a few days after) or keep an eye on their etsy store. Here's the link to their member site: http://olorganics.com and their Etsy store: https://www.etsy.com/shop/OmegaLabs  They're out until May 4th because they're out doing planting/field work for the next crop.

I'm really impressed with these guys so far though. They extract from the flower not from hemp/stalk. They grow organic, only use organic fertilizer made from their own organic compost. They extract with alchohol or CO2 and run lab analysis on each batch, and each order comes with an analysis sheet. All their products are 0.2% THC or lower (what is federally legal in all 50 states). And on the fuckcombustion forum, their products have gotten really good reviews from those that have tried them! Very excited to see how they work for me, will update here when I can :)

  7. I Take my CBD Oil with CBD cyristals Those are Like 99% CBD and helping me a lot... have you Tried Oil its Really good with tea.

  8. I would go to a dispensary and ask a budtender what they would suggest for you. In Washington you don’t have to have a medical card to buy products.
I started out like you are real low thc high cbd and I still use cbd strains on a daily basis. But I’ve found a few regular strains ( high thc ) that give me the same benefits at a cheaper cost. This took me about a year of trying diffrent strains buying a gram at a time. I started out using harliquin, cannatonic, Harley tsu, sour tsunami, cbd critical mass, ac/dc,pennywise and charlottes web.
Honestly flower would be your best bet if you want low thc, when flower is converted to oil it tends to raise the thc. I’ve bought flower that has had less than 1% thc and like 9%cbd and turned around and bought oil in the same strain and it was like 15% thc and like 50% cbd. It wasn’t horrible because cbd counteracts the effects of thc but there was a diffrents in the high for sure. If your looking for like a cbd tincture be VERY spectacle about where you get it online there’s a lot of trash online that won’t help you.
