Hey everyone. I just planted my seeds in 3" nursery pots on April 17th trying to get a 4-20 germination again but they were a little late but that's OK. The Blue Dream came up first early this morning and when I got home from work the Amnesia, Great White Shark and Strawberry Blue were all breaking the soil surface as well. I am growing one each of the following: Medical Seeds - Sour Diesel Humboldt Seed Organization - Blue Dream Dinafem - Amnesia Green House - Great White Shark World Of Seeds - Strawberry Blue Delicious Seeds - Critical Sensi Star All feminized from Herbies Seeds. Four new strains for me. The Sensi Star and Strawberry Blue were freebies.
I went and added a second Sour Diesel and a second Blue Dream for a total of eight plants outdoors. I am going to be one busy mo-fo when it's trimming time. Got all the containers situated today even though the seedlings are only 2-3" tall at the moment.
I just put all eight plants into their final 17 gallon containers and chopped and dropped the cover crops. Going to get some straw and mulch them all next weekend.
Kiddie pool? There is no kiddie pool in these pics bro. Those are blue 17 gallon totes from the store that people use to put kids toys in, etc.
It's going pretty good. I thought the plants looked a little pale so I put chopped comfrey leaves on the soil surface and then sprinkled 1/3 cup acadian kelp meal, 1/3 cup Ahimsa neem cake, 1/3 cup alfalfa meal and a top dressing of my soil mix from last season over all that and watered it. CC told me I should be amazed in 3-4 days. I hope so.
For some reason I don't see people to natural grows in pots within close range proximity I think it's kind of awesome that you're utilizing just sunlight and natural organic soil plus you have your pens protected so no animals can hamper with it I think it's amazing set up especially for an outdoor grow because you don't usually see it like this I've been searching the forums for it potted plants outside and you really see them unless it's a cruel world I'm doing the same type of setup and it's just cool to see how when I get my house I would like it to be I don't need to run up my electricity but instead he's God's gift of the season of summer and crop my harvest to last through the winter Dont Collection most of the phones are based on LED lights and using electricity in your ass is not that's what makes it different and that's what makes it special I'm going to enjoy following you Most of the forumss on growing
Thanks GG87. The wire cages around the plants are to support the plant when it's bigger and protect it from the wind. They work great and are heavy duty.
I like to wait till the last of the spring harvest plants are out of the ground and I still have a couple to get to today.. Meanwhile the veggers in the shed are about 6 inches taller then my last set due to my new T5HOs and ditching my CFL original starter boxes..
That top dressing of comfrey, neem cake, kelp and alfalfa a week ago combined with the last few days of sunshine has my plants taking off nicely. The cover crops are providing a nice living mulch as well.
