Whats up guys, found a bean in some blue dream I had. Germed it 4/14, stuck in dirt 4/15. Using 2 26w CFL's until the first set of 3 or 5 pointers come out. Just doing this grow for fun and a learning experience. I LST'd my last grow, thinking of trying SCROG this time around. 4/16 4/17 Ghetto setup (Using light fixture I replace w/ ceiling fan, white cardboard box to help reflect) Today (4/20) ~2" tall, second set of leaves starting to show
ouch man, that styrofoam cup making me cringe. do you have drainage holes in it? it looks healthy so far, please say you dont have a 5 gallon styrofoam container to transfer it into. Also your soil looks like u dug it up from your yard, it could use some perlite . And your lights are lacking to say the least, do you have a plan for the lights? or really a plan for anything this grow?
I'll tag along, I just started my first grow as well. Make sure you invest in good lights, and soil. Just read the forums and you'll learn. Take notes and see what people have to say man. Happy 4/20!

Heres a few pics from my first grow. Grown under 6 26w CFL's. About 24g dried & cured Ebcrew- As I stated in my previous post, I am only using 2 CFL's until the first set of 3 or 5 point leaves come out. I have a 5 gallon pot that it will be transplanted into once I throw it into 18/6. The soil is not out of my yard, and I will be mixing perlite whenever I transplant. The reason for the improvised pot that I have now is that the day it sprouted the root shot out the side of my peat pellet and I needed to get the seedling into something ASAP. Like I said, I'm doing this grow as more of a learning experience than anything else, so I'm not going to dump a lot of cash into it.

Gave her some time out in the sun today, she loved it. I would like to get a few clones from her in the event shes a girl. By the time sex has shown is it too late to take clones?
Thanks. I switched to 5000k bulbs this afternoon. Was planning on switching to 18/6 when the first 3/5 point leaves show. Thoughts?
So today is day 6 since poking up. She* is still ~2" tall (the shorter the better IMO). She* is also about 2" wide. 3rd set of leaves jussst beginning to form. Little to no space between leaf sets also. I have my lights in a manner where they are shining somewhat from the side. Hoping this will discourage vertical growth and encourage bushiness. With that being said, how does she* look for being 6 days out of soil?

Her leaves are looking a little yellow at the tips... Any idea what caused this? Im thinking I may have over-watered
Funny you mentioned that, I am actually transplanting her* today. Heading to home depot to get some perlite then dropping her* in her* new home. And with that being said, does it look like I overwatered? Also, I'm still running 24/0... Should I go ahead and start 18/6? Thanks for the help guys!
