So I had this sales job it was some lawn care company out in Cincinnati. The job was sketchy because we had to call people from our cellphones(red flag) but my sales manager's office always reaked of bud.. Like seriously it punches you in the face when you walk in. None if us really asked questions about it. One day the branch manager suddenly came in and took the HUGEST whiff of air like seriously breathing in and out slowly, then he walked out. Throughout the week the branch manager came in multiple times a day and taking huge sniffs lol. I thought it was hilarious because he was bringing in more penguins(corporate guys in black suits) to come in and sniff the room. Next day the manager comes in scared like "I don't know what they're talking about, they're out there saying my office smells like weed". Our whole team is in stitches laughing and the branch manager was walking around pissed and still peaking his head in the door sniffing.

My manager gave us speeches before going out on the sales floor or go door to door to motivate everybody. He told us before we left that he gets "lifted" before work to help get sales and make smoother calls lol he said "I'm not gonna lie man I get lifted before I come in work". He said he's gonna stop because he's on thin ice from the last time he got us a complaint on BBB for calling this old lady at 9pm to try to convince her to go on our "program" lol. The office was a funny place to be while I worked there. I quit last week because I got a better offer and I wasn't about that Commission only life haha
