Twisted Leaves

  1. Long story short, this is my first experimental grow with some bagseed. Obviously I expect very little to nothing from my first go around. I also realize that my grow setup is very bad. I went into this with some materials I had already just lying around (everything except the 150w CFL I'm growing with). I'm not following any specific guide, just going from cherry-picked information around the web. This plant specifically is just a test run while I'm actually constructing a better box for a Northern Lights or two and have a pre-planned setup and material/watering/nuts routine outlined (I got impatient and germinated bagseed just to piss around with).

I certainly haven't over watered the plant and have always let the soil become dry before watering. I suspect pH problems, or root problems. The plant had been doing flawlessly in veg but I just recently moved to a rural area and now have well water (no idea what's in it at the moment) instead of the city-treated tap water I had been giving it. I'll be picking up a pH test kit later tonight to verify and potentially correct the issue. The potting soil the plant is in has retained considerable moisture over the last week (I haven't watered it the entire time as to not over water) and under the loose top soil it still feels very moist.

It's also worth noting that the day I moved the plant to my new house is also the night I started the flowering light cycle and gave it a nice well water bath without thinking.

The issue I have isn't the obvious nute/light burn on some of the mid-lower leaves, it's the twisted, newer leaves on the top. They didn't pop up until the plant was moved into the new house and received well water, but they have grown in and remained all twisted looking. They aren't brittle and feel just like the bottom leaves. I tried to find the symptoms on growweedeasy's plant doctor page but none of the newer problematic leaves on my plant match up with the website's pictures.

Anyone have any thoughts and/or general advice for my situation? I'm not going to germinate my Northern Lights seeds until I feel I can competently grow them. Side note, what seed bank do you recommend buying from? I'm looking at both Ilovegrowingmarijuana.com and nirvanashop.com
