should my dealer lower his prices

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by BigFrealz8885, Apr 18, 2015.

  1. i bought 4 eights off my dealer he gives me a extra .2 or .3 he charges me 45 when should he do it for 40 ?

  2. 45 is a good price for eighths. 40 is pretty rare in my area. my buddys getting a quarter pound and he says he can hold me down with 40 for 3.5 on monday

  3. Your dealer sets his price and people who want to buy at that price will buy from him. If you don't want to pay that much then go find a dealer selling for how much you want to pay if you can. There is no answer to your question, because  if someone doesn't want to sell at a lower price or can't sell at a lower price, then there is no 'should' involved.

  4. Ha! Sounds like a high school kind of issue to me.

And why should he lower his price?

Supply, demand, location, prices your dealer gets his for and profit margin all figure into the equation of what you pay.

Also he takes the risk and you get to smoke.

    Understand?

  5. If you want to pay less buy by the oz.

  6. for a single 1/8th i would say it is average for good dank bud. but i think he should have cut you a deal on price if you were buying a 1/2 ounce. i would look elsewhere for a new connection. just don't burn your bridges with him because you never know when you might need to call on him in a pinch. [IMG]

I agree with the other posts here, the price is the price.  He should lower the price if he gets a load of lower grade weed.  Dealing is risky, of all the moving parts in the weed industry, this is the most risky position by far.  Taking a fiver from him really doesn't make sense to me and probably won't to him too.

Each encounter is a risk, That is the service you are paying for. I think if you look at it that way it makes much more sense.

If you buy a few grams at a time, the price should be comparatively high.  Buy an ounce or 4 then the overall price should be much lower.   Maybe considering pooling your money with friends and split 1-4 oz?  I am a bargain shopper too man, I get it, but this is the best way to get the best deal.  Buy more at a time.

  8.
Dont buy from that rip off fucker, let him charge $60 an 1/8 and stop caring.

  9. Usually if u buy by bulk you'll save some money than if u bought seperate 8ths to get a half O

  10. You sir need to learn the concept of supply and demand.

  11.
I've re-read this a couple of times, and now I'm wondering if you mean something else entirely, OP. Are you suggesting that you believe tht the more you buy from him over time, there will be a point where he starts charging less? Like if you buy enough eighths then one day the price goes from $45 to $40? If so, it doesn't work that way. Like any other commodity, it gets cheaper the more you buy in bulk at a single time.

Like for instance, you go to the grocery store and buy a can of coke. That can will always have a set price and will never change regardless of how many single cans you buy over time. But it will get cheaper the more you buy at once.  A 6 pack is cheaper than  6 individual cans and a 12 pack is cheaper than 2 six packs, and a case of 24 should be cheaper than 2 12 packs.

So if you want a cheaper price, buy more at a single time. Like someone said, get together with friends and buy a quarter or a half even.

  12. I'm in the UK and pay about £30 for an Eight so sounds pretty fair.

  13. ontario you get 3.5 for $30 half is $100 oz is $180

just need to shop around for a better dealer but like its been said before dont burn your bridges just yet until your new dealer is better or just keep them all in your pocket because you never know when one dealer is out and the other is not

  14. in my area 1/8s go for 40-60.

Not enough info. OP. Everybody is now going to tell you what they pay in their area. All that matters is where you are from and what the rate seems to be in that area.

  16. this, unless your dealer is a friend who usually hooks you with deals, I wouldn't expect him too. I usually pay 50-60 a Q and 180 a zip. The price is the price man. I've paid $200 for a zip of mids, yet in the next month paid $170 for a zip of dank.

Supply and demand. It helps if you think of buying weed like buying anything from a store.

  17. 45 is good for an eighth. I can only get a quarter for $100 or more.

  18. Depends on the bud and location. An eighth of bubblegum costs $60 here. It depends on location and quality.
