Well here is a little journal from when I started to where we are at now! As I stated I am quite new to this, only bothered to take my hand at 1-3 plant grows ever and have only completed 4 to get smokeable (which wasn't half because i apparently know what curing does ;]). but I would love any advice at all, if something looks wrong please tell me what to do and fix well here we go: Note: the pictures are not straight from seedling, I started taking them about 2 weeks in or so. Also the last set of pictures show sins of damage, that's because i'm attempting my first cloning. A sign that she's healthy . It's normal to smell without bud...she'll just start to get even funkier around 2-3 weeks after showing sex (assuming it's a female).
Hey looking good! I don't see anything wrong with that plant. I to am just starting the seeds for a indoor CFL grow of 1-3 plants. I have limited room so i'm just going for a small setup. Hey just curious how bad does that plant smell at the moment, i mean compared to a room full of dank weed smoke or something?
oh gosh, it's nothing to worry about, I can only really smell it when its in my face, or if i rub the stock, but like ganja lady said, 2-3 weeks in, depending on the phenotype and terpine content it could smell ALOT or not as much. not much you can do about the smell unless you go Co2 or somethin. but during veg and a little into flower, no smell at all really. hope this helps
Heh, that's a bit of an understatement. I could smell my plants into the street that ran along the front of my house when I didn't use a carbon filter. The further into flowering they get, the more they reek. Veg smell is nothing compared to flower stage. If your plants don't reek during flowering, then something is probably wrong! Co2 does nothing for smell by the way. It's used to boost growth in larger grow ops.
Yeah for my grow cab i may be trying to eventually get it as sealed off as i can and buy some activated carbon for a carbon filter like you say. I'll just make my own from soda bottles i think. Got the soil and the seeds germinating with the wet paper towl in plastic bag technique. Yours is looking spectacular. About how long has it been in the last pic since the germination phase?
Sorry, I did mean to say carbon filter, not Co2 intake....and i have only done 2-3 grows sofar only with CFL no MH or HPS. so im learning thanks for the corrections

Yeah, I would love to have had her in a 5 gallon, but all i had at the time was this one and i believe it holds somewhere between 3.9-4.4 gallons maybe. I guess this will have to do. P.S I just spotted a very small white hair in a few places....hope by tomorrow it shows the true sex...but almost positive it's gonna be a girl DD
Yup she's a girl! checked this morning and she has a few sets of small hairs on the main colas. wooo! ill get a pic up later in the day.
