Ur already making the first noob mistake....letting the plant go straight up

O and regarding the banter its just that and nothing else...im pretty sure the boys saying lets take it outside will calm down in 5 minutes.  If you havnt butted heads with someone on a forum u arent doing it right evidently.

If I wanted to rude I would've been rude. If you aren't sure of something then don't say it. Like I said newbies think everything written on here is right.
    When 90% of it isn't.

If you honestly thought that was rude, you are more naive than I could've imagined.

  3. Well the large bucket was full outside from the rain (TDS measured the rain water in the bucket at 009ppm :D) so i took the plants outside and gave them a nice flush. Not sure how much i need to properly flush but i used a good 4-5 liters of water for each pot and the run off was around 240-270ppm.

I also finally received the PH/Soil meter from ebay, It was standing at around 7 - 7.5, After flush 6.5 - 7ish

I also now have this product, I heard it helps a lot in plant growth http://www.maiaustralia.com.au/store/store.php?crn=208
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mycorrhiza (for more info)

I was wondering can i sprinkle some on top of soil then water down when its time to water hopefully it will help growth/strength or is it 2 late to add that stuff?

    Thanx, Juju

The weirdest part is how the leaves feel, They seem to have fragile life in them or something I bend, move the leaves and they stay the way i bend them or others slowly return to original position :S

  5. Just give it some time. With proper care they should start to get better. Have you noticed any new growth or problems?

  6. A little bit of growth but the plant still looks sick. Also it seems to be going light green, Scared to add any nutes :S

  7. Is there a pic to see?

This got sent to me from a friend, http://www.growweedeasy.com/marijuana-symptoms
Go down to Iron Deficiency: Seems similar what you guys think?

I was thinking to use 1/2 dose biobizz fishmix with a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to hopefully lower P.H with about 1 gal water for both? I also have Epsom salts if needed.

Just received a different PH meter for water like the TDS one, Measured the run off in the bowl under the pots and it was reading..
5.2-5.5 for the smaller pot(taller plant)
6.0-6.2 for the larger pot (wider plant)

Confusing the shit out of me now because the soil ph tester was showing 7-8PH

Tap water here tested was like 6.5-6.8ph
    Rain was bucket was 7.5-8ph
The bottled water i used that said 5.5ph on the label is 4-4.5 with the tester...
Apparently its meant to be natural spring water from source but its acidic seems like a scam..
I also use some water called pure au which is 001-003ppm and has ph reading of 5.5.

(Though i have been watering mostly with tap/rain water)

Here is a link about water PH and stuff let me know what you guys think of it

Here's the thing i don't get about the waters, Everyone knows tap water is bad and full of added fluoride, chlorine, heavy metals from the rust in the pipes and so on.. But the PH meter is saying anywhere from 6.5-7.3?? How can tap water even be close to alkaline? and its roughly 090-105ppm,

Rain water in the large buckets was 7-8PH and its ppm was 009-020.
(however i've heard that rain water on its own should be 5.5-5.6?)

The bottled water is half the ppm of the tap water and its 4.0 - 4.5 on the PH meter?
i also used some ph strips for the bottle and its showing 7 lol im done..

Bare with me, Still learning everyday [IMG]

  11. The pH meter is probably crap. How much did you pay for it?

  12.
Looks like the $10-20 meter some people recommend. I use one that's probably similar/the same, except it is backlit and has automatic temperature control or something like that. I've heard the ATC actually makes a difference with these and is worth the extra few bucks. I've had no issues at all with mine and have compared it using other methods.

Still, it could be a bad unit. Can't really go wrong with this in soil http://www.amazon.com/General-Hydroponics-Test-Kit-1-Ounce/dp/B000BT32UA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1429799520&sr=8-1&keywords=general+hydro+ph

    Yeah pH meters are tempermental.
Could be from the same company but something could've fucked up along the way.

Yeah I like my drops. ^.^ very easy if you're doing soil. Just need to look for the urine colour :lol:

Like I said it's cheaply made, things can always go wrong. Especially with something as tempermental and sensitive as a ph meter.
One way you can know for sure is to get pH drops. That way you can get an idea of how far (if) your meter is off.

  16. Plants seem to be getting better [IMG]
Taller one has jolted up to 9-10inches and the WW is now 5-6 inches, though its very wide and bushy.
    20150427_204017.jpg 20150427_204021.jpg 20150427_204033.jpg 20150427_204055.jpg 20150427_204103.jpg
Also As you can see there are some spots on the WW stem I haven't really noticed :S What are these and should or can i do anything about it?

Just been using rainwater with a small drop of worm juice.

  17.

The PH meter i was using was actually correct. I recently ordered PH drops form a hydro store and the tests show the same results as the other PH meter u guys were saying is cheap and faulty :S

Thing i'm kind of confused about is that the spring bottled water i buy has half the PPM of tap water and 4.5 PH
The tap water is Alkaline 6.5-7PH and has twice the PPM? Shouldn't it be more acidic if higher ppm.

Like rain water in the bucket is 7-8PH and 010-020PPM

I also gave them some rain water today measured at 7.5PH and run off at 6.5PH. Is this good or should i water with 6.5 and getting a run off of 5.5 is better?

    Thanx, Juju

  18. Glad the meter works and you could confirm with drops. I started with drops and still have them around just to make sure my meter (basically the same as yours) works periodically.

I don't know about the rest though, sorry.

  19. I never said it was faulty.
