My LSV has been nothing but amazing for me up until recently. For some reason, the heater will not turn on unless i move the dial past 2 o'clock. The light wont even turn [IMG]

If i try holding a session like this, it will slowly require me to turn the dial more and more until im forced to to turn it all the way to the right. Its unusable like this, and I miss my baby [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Has anyone ever heard of this issue? Should i just contact the manufacturer, or the store? I bought it from vapornation, and i definitely havent passed a year with this device yet, so there should be some form of warranty on it. If this is a known and fixable issue however, I'd much rather fix it myself so that i dont have to depart from her at all.

Thanks in advance for your help [IMG]

  2. I would suggest to first go over to fuckcombustion.com and go to the lsv thread and post your dilemma there. If you can't fix it yourself and no one can help you there I would contact whoever you bought it from and ask to send it in for repairs. I'm not sure if they will do it or they might have to,send it into 7th floor. I hope it gets fixed soon man the lsv is a great vape

  3. ^Done. In the event that anyone over here might have some answers as well though, feel free to post! [IMG]

This sounds kinda unique to me.     Usually it either works or it doesn't.

Have you tried to jiggle the cord around where it meets the body of the LSV to see if that turns the light back on momentarily?     The reason I'm asking is that typically, the only problem that I have heard in regards to the LSV is a short in the power cord where it meets the body of the LSV due to power cord fraying.   If this is in fact the issue, you can fix it yourself but it will void the warranty.

  5. ^Yea i was hoping it would be a cord issue, but that doesnt seem to be the case. The cable doesnt seem to have any stress visible, and wiggling it does nothing. Its something to do with the heater... which is why i fear I'm probably gonna be forced to ship my baby out.
I was looking forward to vaporbonging for 4/20 too -_-

    Bummer.

    No backup....??

    Double bummer...

  7. The temp dial is just a --ohm pot. It may have gotten gunked up. It is an unfortunate problem in electric guitars, sometimes you can work it a bunch and it gets better, but usually has to be replaced. You can take the knob off and access the locknut, but I doubt you could get to the internals without unscrewing the bottom.

  8. First stop could be checking with 7th Floor they are the ultimate source of information on the unit. Who knows it might be one of those quick DIY fixes and you cam minimize your down time with the right part from the manufacture.

  9.
I can just about guarantee that that will not happen.
