My car is up for inspection and I wanted to walk in and buy it instead of mailing it off. I've done it before with my insurance place that I go to, but this time they didn't have it. I went to another place to get it and the lady looked puzzled and said that the auto place should have it when I go and get it inspected. Is this true? I might have been saying tags instead of the word sticker and Where else can I go and buy the inspection sticker that goes on the back of the license plate?
#1 you don't tell which state you are in. Nearly every state has different laws regarding auto inspections, some have none at all. #2 you have to go to an INSPECTION station, get your ride inspected to get a sticker. That's the whole point of an inspection.
Call the fucking dmv Where I live you go to the county treasures office Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
In Cali you get your car inspected and they electronically send off your approval to DMV. DMV then mails you the tags.
