Warning this is considered a way to the Occult arts and is not for everyone. If I were to die this'd be my knowledge to everyone, no i'm not the first but these are my personal regimens that i'm still building on. Hellos i'm going to share what I've done so far to unearth the inner secrets of oneself. Then after I share what I've done if you'd be so kind as to tell me any of your own ways to increase awareness and spirituality. Now this is not for everyone but I hope some of you try these out, in hopes of a greater spiritual awakening. Test your boundaries, physical, mental all First off I'd like to state that everyone body reacts differently and some of these trials may not be for you but without further adieu: Probably the most profound trial fasting, try at least twice a week, going 12 hours at least. The benefits are countless, I'd go into it but i'm keeping this brief. Feel free to look further into each trial. To name a few benefits, metabolism reset, immune system strengthening, improved cognitive function, spirituality etc. 1 Fast often but don't starve to Death! Find the perfect equilibrium or only do so at specified times. 2 Combine fasting with Ice showers, the longer the better. I recommend 20 mins. Combining these increases both benefits exponentially. 3 When you do eat, eat little and only the purest quality foods, spices, herbs, teas, medicines, variety is the spice of life. Try drinking tea a few times a day, add things like honey, weed. 4 Foods I find increase my abilities Paleo YOU MUST STICK YOUR BEST SUSTAINABLE DIET FOR AT LEAST A FEW WEEKS-MONTHS, hybrid diet-Very High fat, Drink 6 cups of bullet proof coffee a day, add egg whites spices as desired. 5 Find something to chew on occasionally, Black licorice, gum, safer chew, seeds etc 6 Use Nicotine a lot, try a sweat lodge. 7 Meditate, align chakras isolate your self, preferably outside around nature. 8 Deprive your self of desires, delay instant gratification, yes sex too. 9 Deprive your senses, take a shower in the dark or wear a blind fold for a week etc. 10 Have an artistic outlet, I draw and reflect upon that given day. Draw the highlights of the day in a meaningful way. Reflect upon that day. Playing an instrument is also awesome. Be unpredictable. Have an aggressive outlet too, you'll need it. 11 Have a workout/lift/yoga session during weekdays. Go places you don't, play with an animal/pet. 12 Walk bare foot outside, go out at night, dance in the rain, the harsher the environment the better, I sometimes go out in my boxers and it's fun. lol 13 Picture yourself doing exercises, you can actually maintain muscle this way. 14 Be only yourself, and don't be afraid what others think. 16 smoke lots of weed but know your limits, if any, and get all your shit done. 17 After fasting for a few days, drinking coffee, cold showers, meditation, proper variety of safe healthy supper foods that work with you, eat a mango, fast another day, abstain from weed for week at this point or delay as long as you can for awhile, then stay up all night, naps are ok as long as there short, wait until night the next day, smoke more then usually would, and optional listen to new genres of music/new music. Now you might trip out a lot, almost acid like, if you've done everything right. You might feel sick/green out, drink water. 18 Use candles, incense, oils, salts, natural lighting 19 Grow your hair out at least once and shave your head at least once 20 Know your genetic/cultural background 21 Get a meaningful tattoo/piercing and I really mean meaningful 22 Learn something new every day-week 23 Focus on a handful of goals and reach them, add more. 24 NO TV, read a book/history and act in there shoes and question everything. 25 Build a large bonfire/watch a field fire and experiment 26 Look at the stars and you're hand. 27 Look at all perspectives 28 Avoid the poisons, especially unnatural(amounts too) sugars, occasional alcohol is good if used wisely, getting drunk is ok but not every day. You'd think that's obvious. 29 Travel 30 Think independently, appreciate small things, art, creativity, innovation, and gifts even if it seems they don't exist they usually do. We all share special attributes, some are just hidden, others valued more. Safe Journeys May I cast my hand into the recesses of your slumbering mind and sever the inhibitions. If you proceed with the trials in the manner I've set up you can only benefit, unless you're afraid of reality or have a compromised constitution. Before any of you discredit any of this i'll have you know i'm quite the specimen, physically, mentally. and have benefited greatly from these things, however i'm lazy, still working on that. I'll go into further detail if you ask. I'm aware of the many grammatical/syntax errors but feel the info is what's important, the lazy thing lol What are your ways to enlightenment??
Sounds very like a weekend at festivals i used to attend in my younger years. I never got enlightened, just a headache.
Well I knows it's helped me see, maybe I need a T-break.lol Just wanted to share my spiritual journey thus far.
Neato. Personally I have not done the fasting, cold showers, blindfolded (for a week? Really?) Things. Moreso because I have felt it's like an extra-curricular, though I would like to try sense - deprivation. Personally I work in the trades and I do things such as: never put on a bandaid (unless bleeding profusely), never treat bumps, bruises...truly only with awareness/reiki if I have a feeling to (I love that one, people laugh when I tell them to block everything out and feel it). In anything I do, I try and put full attention on whatever it is, at all times of the day. Mindchatter revert to feeling the body, what is needed. I really do lots of stuff that are day to day I suppose. And enhancing awareness with meditation and yoga tossed in, though I would love to experiment with other practices, Tai Chi, shamanism, etc. Looking for truth always. It is difficult to keep this in check as others are very much inclined to satisfy their ego and project truth where it really has no merit. Truth above all. Just sort of rambling there, but that's how the cookie crumbles sometimes no?
I like your plan as I incorporate many of the aspects of it into my own life. I like "living plans" which are plans that are in constant adjustment and use trial and error to see what works and what doesn't. ------
Arbitrary and I do, something you could of figured out by viewing the job description on my profile. This is more ingrained into a schedule, or as browne put a 'life plan.'
