WTF - GTA V Bonus

Discussion in 'Gamer's Heartbeat' started by Deleted member 839659, Apr 15, 2015.

  1. This is retarded. Why not give us the option to choose whether or not we want the half a mil bonus??

    I want a challenge, not a hand out. I ain't no commie.

Anyone know how to remove this free money?? I want to play from scratch.

  2. Ahh kids these days... They complain about getting free things

  3. You simply don't but in the access code or deny it when its prompted? You know what the pre-order bonus was when you did, why complain? It's digital, it's not like they would run out. I imagine most preordered for the bonus.

dude ive been playing online for like a year and a half and ive never glitched any money at all. i dont even have 4 mill right now. trust me, you want the 500k.

edit: obviously ive earned over 4 mill total in my time playing but its not easy to grind out a shit ton of money playing legit. the 500k is good to get you started. it can buy you a decent apartment and a car.

  5. So how are the Heists? Anything like Payday? I haven't bothered doing any yet.

  6. the heists are pretty cool. fun to play, actually have a little bit of a storyline attached to them unlike the rest of gta online.

they can be very difficult if you play them on hard, they are moderately difficult on normal.

they pay pretty good money, especially the first time you play them because you get a bonus.

i would say they dont have much replay value though. ive done a couple of them twice, the others ive only done once.

  7. Thanks, I thought I posted this in the other GTA thread.

  8.
That's beyond the point. I want to feel like I achieved something (yes I see the irony). Even if it's a struggle, or inevitable failure, I want to work for it.

By tht logic I might as well play every game on easy instead of hard. Or why not cheat at everything.

How did R* think this was alright? Am I the only one with gaming morals??

Now what? I'm just gonna buy a cinemaplex or invest in the stock market? Game over, man, game over.

you cant buy properties or invest in the stock market online.

the only things you can buy are apartments/houses, vehicles, guns/ammo/armour, snacks, clothes and things to update your characters appearance. plus money is used for certain things like setting a bounty or calling contacts for certain things.

and 500k doesnt go very far online. its not even enough to buy a top of the line car or apartment.

Oh I'm talking about single player.

edit : I didnt even realize u got money online too. im even more pissed off now > : (

  11. its not a big deal online. ive been playing for a year and half and i have two apartments with 10 car garages. i still have room for like 5 more cars. it takes awhile to build your empire up online. you dont even unlock most of the good shit until youre a fairly high level anyway.

  12. today it's 500,000 free dollars. tomorrow it's aimbot in battlefield. it's a slippery slope i tell ya

Wait, you were complaining about story money? It doesn't effect much, basically lets you buy more ammo (which you lose if you're arrested), upgrade a car or maybe a business. You still have to do all the shit where Michael owes money. You don't even have to use it if you don't want to. As for online it just means you don't have to grind retardedlyon a game that has been out already for 2 years. I don't want to do 100 matches to get enough money to upgrade one car. I could understand if it gave you levels but the money spent is optional and hardly invasive to gameplay. I wasted most my money online on retarded shit like 100,000's on clothes and pink gun skins. Money is a grind, nothing else.

  14. 500,000 is nothing. I spent most of it on my solo player in like the first few hours on just guns and pimping cars out.
It's not going to destroy your ability to play the game.
+ For solo it only goes to one character, it went to Franklin for me.
On Online though, still, 500k won't get you far. Don't think it'll ruin your experience.

  15.
tht made me feel better, thnx

  16. You can always gift your online money to them poor folk in the ghettos.

  17. ill take it haha

    they is no comparision hhhhhhhhhhhhh,

  19.
I get your point, but the 500k will not get you very far in both online & single player. I think the golf course in single player costs $151 million and a decent car with max upgrades will run you a few hundred thousand easily, to paint you a picture.

You have to do a whole lot of repetitious grinding to make chump change, you'll appreciate the bonus later on down the line when you're trying to add armor & turbo to your $400k car.

Or you could just be a total badass and not actually spend any of the 500k. Just spend whatever you earn on top of it.

  20.
I found tht out the hard way. I'm broke. Couldn't even buy body armor.
