I am curious about everyone's opinions and thoughts towards cannabis use during pregnancy. Post them please! Before you do so I very much prefer you do your research, and actually have an idea about the medicinal uses of cannabis before you post anything.

  2. The midwife who helped us with our first born was a big proponent of medicinal herbs.  She kept a big garden of herbs for her practice.  She suggested that cannabis could be used lightly for calming and sleep but just a puff, not for getting baked and only when other herbs weren't working.

  3. can of worms im not about to use as bait

  4.
    Ditto! lol

I'd contact Storm Crow here, she's going to have pages of research on it.

  5. I've done no research. But the wife (now ex) started throwing up as soon as she learned she was pregnant. Twice. Nothing was bringing it under control. Had to go in the hospital twice because of it. We talked it over, and she started smoking a little. The problem ceased immediately. Did it from the onset of the second pregnancy. Worked like a charm. Two beautiful, healthy babies resulted.

Not necessarily advocating this for everyone, just relating the experience. It was mid level weed and she smoked just enough to get a buzz. Your results may vary.

  6. mothers' breast milk is loaded with endocannabinoids for the child to build upon. it is one of the most important growth signals sent to the child for early development, the child will not grow otherwise into a human but remain a blob with no organs or identifying traits to the human race.  with that said you decide the importance.

if the mother cannot produce endocannabinoids for the child there would be an undeveloped fetus and the supplementation of external cannabinoids ( cannabis) could be used to increase the endoccabinoid system in the mother for the developing child. Mothers should make their own though and not need an external source except for maybe supplementing their own endocannabnoid system for their own body developmental endocannabinoid related health.

morning sickness for example, cannabis is good for nausea.

  7. Fewer stress hormones in a mothers body can be critical towards the development of a healthy baby.

  8. There isn't a lot of research involving Cannabis during pregnancy. Some studies don't look great. Some studies look okay. Either way, it's not set in stone and you are taking a risk. Sometimes pregnant people throw up and feel bad. That's just the way it is. It's part of being pregnant.

  9. Why not take this as an oppurtinity for a tolerance break?
