They will be doing just an industrial hemp-based drink with "no bounce to the ounce"... until we get cannabis fully legalized. I am hoping that they will be selective in their choice of hemp strains. Just as with the THC in our "smoking" cannabis, the levels of CBD in hemp can vary greatly! (FYI- The production of CBD and THC both start with the same precursor compound- genetics decide which it is turned into.) If they are really smart they will test for CBD and go for the strains with the highest levels of CBD! Since CBD has no high, large amounts of it in their products will not be a problem. This could become an alternative way to deliver CBD which can treat many medical conditions and also has a calming effect, unlike caffeine!
