Sign of Impure BHO?

    Howdy GC. I just made a $50/g pick-up from my usual guy and found it to share some of the same characteristics of a bunk $15/g pick-up I got a while back, mainly that it only properly combusts at extreme (red-hot nail) high temps. Anything less results in minimal smoke and turns the stuff to a black, crumbly solid. It's pretty brittle crumble like the previous gram was but doesn't have the strong scent of cat food or foul taste that that had. I've never been blatantly ripped off by this person in the past so I was wondering, is this really a surefire sign of a bad yield? I can add pictures if it helps. Much appreciated.

    Put a lighter to the top if it bubbles and hardens with the bubbles in it/ catch fire then it still contains butane

    Taste like cat food, or foul taste?  What the hell are you dabbing?  Pics please.  sounds like you shouldn't be dabbing either.

    If you paid $50 a gram and it tastes bad.. that says enough right there.

    Technically speaking dosent all BHO contain trace elements of butane ?
