Vape Pen or joint?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by xanonx, Apr 12, 2015.

  1. Which does everyone prefer and why?

  2. Vape pen, hate the res taste from burning plant matter.

  3. Vape pen. You can taste the weed more and it's not as harsh.

  4. joint. idk weed has been a thing all my life, rolling joints gives me good memories. vape pens only give me buzz

  5. So for someone who's new to smoking weed, a vape pen is the way to go?
I've smoked other stuff, just not weed, and when I smoked before it made me cough like crazy. Will vape pens do that, or are they literally not that harsh?

  6. Are you smoking bud or concentrate? If harshness is your concern with bud, get an actual vaporizer. The "vape pens" for bud do a good job at burning the plant. I have seen people use the pen pipes and still cough.

  7. Are they coughing because it chokes them (like drinking water too fast) or because it burns like a cigarette?

  8. Never asked. Nobody i know using them now. If i were to guess itd be the burn

  9. So it sounds like if I want to smoke weed, im gonna have to burn my throat either way? Will I get used to it? Will the burn go away?

If you're so worried about it just don't try Weed.
It should be simple and fun, not something you plan out for weeks.

A dispensary here sells disaposable vape pens with 20- 10mg hits.. Now I don't know what constitutes a 10mg hit but it would be perfect for the new stoner as you can set it down when you have gotten "high enough"

irritation is the word your looking for. Vape pens have aless likely chance of irritation compared to the obvious combustion for weed

  12. Yes, I guess irritation would be the word I was looking for!

  13. Never used a vape pen so for me the answer is joints.

Also what I've heard is the Majority of vape pens combust your weed instead of vaporizing it.

I've used numerous vape pens - a joint is only prefered if you know how to roll a cone everytime , theres too many things you have to look out for when rolling one (denseness of the roll, filter tips roll, the actual roll lol) but can produce a better body high due to the combustion of all its contents. You will get a medium tingling irration in your throat but youll get used to it . Now if you plan to buy a vape pen be aware that small vape pens are usually only for concentrate ( dry herb attachments on small cheap vape pen usually dont work or combust the weed) and if its burning too hot and theres not enough cooling before it hits your mouth it will provide a very strong tingle . You do not want the pen to combust because then its not doing the job you got it for , it should only burn the top layer of crystal not the whole weed . Bigger vapes are amazing to have and if used right will not give any tingling feeling if used right . I prefer my extreme q vaporizer to a joint any day - yes it may not be able to do concentrates that well but a vaporizer attached to a bong with a fan setting allowing it to build the hit (of dry herb) makes for a amazing session .

  15.
    Vaporizer.

  16. Is the T-Vape 2.0 any good? That's what i'm looking at.

  17. I havnt used that specific brand but i have tried that type of design , it was meh and the smoke was too harsh at some points , also youd need to be careful with how long you hold the button because once that coils heats the bud past a certain temp itll burn it - negating the benefits of vaping . My coil broke a while back while i was cleaning weed out from it. However the vapor was alright .

Personally i would reccomend a ariser solo or pax , even a MFLB works wonders and are portable . Small cheap dry herb vape pens can never match the quality and life span of a actual small vape.

  18. I like the bong the best out of the two
