Bud wont get me high. what should I do with it?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by Blunt Visions, Apr 10, 2015.

  1. I picked up a quad for 80 yesterday. Pretty good price if you live in Prince George's Co MD. But the problem is it's just not getting me where I need to be. And I'm mad because I've been getting bud like this for a minute. I think the bud needs to be cured longer, idk some buds look decent some have terrible trim job. I've smoked a good 2 grams what should I do with the rest?

  2. Give it to me

  3. so... cure it.

  4. Curing does help, but every plant I've ever grown was potent after it was dried. If it's not working uncured, I don't know if a cure is going to fix it.

  5. If the potency isn't there all you can really do is smoke alot more at a time or make hash/butter/etc. Even then no promises it'll hit the spot.

  6. curing it will certainly add potency and richness...

throw that stuff in a sealed jar degassing it every now and then for 6 months then talk to me...

  7. Eat it or something.

  8. I've cured for a year and the taste develops beautifully. It doesn't seem any more potent though. I'm not saying you are wrong. I just think that if it's not there to begin with, curing isn't going to transform it into super bud. I wonder if any body has ever lab tested before and after the cure to objectively analyze cannabanoid profiles. That would be cool to see!

  9. taste for sure... one year? beautiful

there is a chemical reaction caused by the decomposition of the chlorophyll

    sure, you're not growing trichomes...

  10. lol just made a firecracker an hour ago. I feel a slight buzz but that's about it.

  11. That's so subjective though. Yes, it breaks down chlorophyll. However, a complete breakdown of chlorophyll would leave your Cannabis a brown color which nobody wants. Like I said, I'd love to see some objective testing demonstrating the before and after effects of curing for different amounts of time.
