Hi, I grow my medicine in living soil. I use only organic amendments. A lot of living worm castings. The base of my soil is Sea Soil which is fish and forest fines composted for 2 years. Also rinsed coco coir, frass. And ACT every two weeks. I have a modest size personal garden. I am new to the forum, and hope to meet some good growers with as much passion for this plant as I have. I will do my best to post my grow and flowers, I dont always get along great with computers so bear with me.
Part of my bloom room... 255 watt full sunlight spectrum LED grow light. Accompanying it is the THC purification unit. All UV rays to enhance THC production. My bloom room has strictly LEDs.
I wanted to share some of the new strains I am running now. They are all still in veg right now so long ways till we have the finished flowers but I still wanted to share and maybe post the grow as it goes. These first three are "Girl Scout Cookies X Seth Rogan" if you are not familiar with the Seth Rogan strain, it is comprised of "Strawberry Kush X Lemon Diesel". I am pretty stoked for these new genetics.
These next four are "Penny Tsu #4 X Seth Rogan". Penny Tsu #4 is also known as PS4. You can see examples of these fine genetics in the most recent Skunk mag. Maria Thomas is featured as one of the women of weed. She is a friend of mine and the source of these new genetics. So thank you goes to her. sea soil is the best!!! Its a big part of my success.
nice grow you got there Eleet! I just ordered a couple of UV lights and was wondering what kind of difference have you noticed using them? how many hours a day to you have them on? peace!
Man, I'm totally impressed. Especially with the Blue Dragon from KOS I've been itching to get some of those beans but I'm scared I might not have the skills for those, cuz I suck with sativa anything. Is that shredded straw I see on top of your container? Better than mulch?
Nice lookin flowers man! Welcome, this is a pretty cool place and great people to pick up some serious amounts of knowledge from. What troubles have you had growing sativas? what strains were they? Im just curious
I think its the mix I'm using, indicas love it, especially kush's, but sativas just don't like it. I also suck at training them, they always stretch like crazy on me after flower and I've only got about 7' floor to light. I think I can fix the mix problem though by switching out some blood meal with something that releases a bit slower, I was thinking alfalfa meal or something. I'll probably add some greensand too, just found some at the hardware store for cheap.
