I'm getting out of the military soon as a combat medic and I'm just thinking about the job opportunities and where I plan on living for the rest of my life I was thinking of either Oregon Colorado we're staying in Texas probably Houston. I want to major in finance or something do with money I want to continue probably to smoke but I can't you know want to make a living and I want to do something the cannabis industry not necessarily owning a dispensary but making a difference nonetheless Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
I live in Colorado and the price to live hear has absurdly skyrocketed in the past few years. Unless you have the money you should consider other places with legal medical or recreational cannabis.
how are the people there and everywhere in like I guess say the more rural areas? I'm thinking more along the lines of maybe Oregon? Alaska... Just not a lot of black people live there lol might stay in Houston if anything, New York City native so if and when medical cannibus gets legalized I can go back there. However the cost is way to expensive Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Have you ever thought of being medic in civilian life? EMS or firefighter or something....they make ok money, and you see something different everyday. Kind of sounds like a descent set-up if you ask me.... If you're looking for something in the marijuana industry try moving to Oregon, Washington or Colorado or something. You will have a better chance landing a job in those states.
Oregon...I live in Colorado. Trust me, move to Oregon...I know people there, stayed for a bit, nothing compares.
Oregon is trying to set up residency laws for people in cannabis businesses right now, so if that's something you're interested in, you're possibly looking at 4-5 years after moving here. Aside from Portland and Eugene, OR is mainly rural.
That's pretty interesting since it's not legal for 2 and half more months. It's already the best? Wow.
Maybe people assume that because of how the people are there now. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
That's an awfully narrow view. But even then, have you been to Oregon? Because they don't really care about your weed...Not only that, but do you want to start in a place or try to establish yourself from the ground up in a place that is already started? Basic economics, my man.
I live in OR. Look to the left of this post and see that my avatar is the state of Oregon lol. You can't even recognize the state you're talking about. Your statement about basic economics makes no sense. WTF are you talking about? And right now they're passing laws so that people have to have 4 years of residency before being able to participate in a cannabis business, so again, WTF are you talking about? If you aren't here now you won't be participating in the weed business. So much for your ground up, eh? Do you even live here?
Well then, like I said...Start up here, in already well established ground where you'll likely sink within the first year assuming you don't do something funny and take loans out to last maybe five before to the ocean floor you go like everyone else. But what the hell do I know, right? I only live in Colorado.
Well establish ground, idk that's like making a McDonald's down the street of another McDonald's and we all know, at least I do that's how New York is. Similar stores blocks from each other... Supply and demand is basic economics and judging from the fact that recreational weed isn't even legal yet? And apps aren't being accepted until 2016? Assuming their is enough people with enough money to even saturate every market. Not insulting your intelligence but I think it's much more complicated... But I appreciate your input guys Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum However this is just about me moving to a legal state... I have residency in New York and their in talks of medical marijanna... Either there or Florida Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
