Im about to start my first grow (Blue Cheese), I just have a few more items to gather up. I plan on feeding fox farm nutrients and am a bit confused. The feeding schedule is only twelve weeks long. I know it will take much longer for my plants to finish their growth cycle. Can anyone help explain or clarify? Any beginner tips are appreciated as well. thanks!

You just follow each schedule as long or as short as needed. Doesn't matter if you veg for 30 days or 3 months just follow the veg schedule and extend out the last week. You don't follow it exactly anyways. If you give 100% of what it says the first week of veg you might fry your plant. Also you don't want to feed any nutes the last 2 weeks of flower. Wait until your plant is ready and then start with week 1 of the schedule. If your growing from seed, that will be after the cotyledon leaves fall off and then it will depend on your soil. If your soil has anything in it, your plant may be fine for awhile. Fox farms ocean forest for example already has nutrients in it and can feed you plant for a bit on its own. When its time, start off with 1/4 of the recommended dose and slowly increase, to see what your plant can handle. Feed nutrients every 2-3 watering as your plant needs.

  5. Do you have any recommendations on soil and/or soil mixture?

I used to grow with fox farms whole line of soils and nutrients and they did great. Now I grow with amended organic soil, no synthetics anymore.

  7. i would say feed every other watering the plants must be pushed to there limit to to achieve max potential

  8. I don't feed the last 3 watering no matter how many weeks it takes.
