Okay. So there's this girl who sits outside of my math class and I always see her when I get out. I found out through this anonymous app that she might be into me, but we've never spoken. How can I go about getting her number, or giving her mine? I'm just not any good at social situations. I was just going to approach and say something like, "hey, my name's J, I know you probably have class soon but I just thought you were really cute, you should txt me sometime" *gives number and leaves*. You know, keep it short and simple. Just drop my number and leave, I don't wanna converse any longer than I have to. Do y'all think it'll be successful? I need input from guys and chicks Also, another question. She usually has her nose buried into her phone whenever I see her. So how can I approach a chick on a phone? I think going with short and simple is the best way to go about it. There's no need to overthink, or overdo anyhing. Do exactly what you mentioned and you should be alright. Worst she can do is say no, and that's not the end of the world. Have at it, bro.

How about getting to know her first? If she's always sitting on a bench after your math class with enough room for two, just sit there. Chill there like you're waiting for someone, don't be awkward about it. Just don't force your number right away.

I think you should do exactly this, except replace "gives number and leaves" with "asks for number and leaves." I definitely think girls don't respond as well to being the initiator to a potential get-together/relationship. Men are typically the ones who do the initiating. So if you have the confidence to strike up that conversation and give her your number, simply ask for hers instead. I would make it something like " Hey my name's J, class soon blah blah blah, thought you were really pretty, do you think I could get your number? I'd love to take you out sometime." Maybe even set something up with her on the spot right there if you ask when she's free or something. Also I would follow it up be proceeding to talk to her following after you get her number. Small talk, how's it going, hows school treating you, how's your day been so far, you look nice, etc.
