I think I screwed up while topping..

  1. The girl is two weeks old, four leaf sets.

This is going to sound funny, but I literally flinched when I went to cut it and I cut the entire new growth off completely - clean to the stem. It's been a few days and I can't even see any new growth coming in yet.

Did I just prevent this girl from growing any further, or will something eventually sprout? LOL.. Thanks brethren.

  2. It will grow

She's just sulking 'cause you hurt her!    [IMG]    Give her a few days, she'll get over it!   [IMG]

Seriously- Plants often go into shock for a day or two after getting topped. The new growth should start any day now!
As long as there are a few leaves left on her, she should recover.

  4. I had a plant that got caught in some very heavy rain and was uprooted a good bit. It also lost 4 nodes, leaving only two left. It grew...

  5. Okay awesome, thank you! She's very healthy, still has 4 leaf sets as I cut the newest growth that was coming in. I know there's a bit of shock to be expected, but when I looked at the top today and saw that literally NOTHING was there, just stem, I got a bit worried.

    It's been a while. :D
