There are no allies in the politics of nation states, just interests, and historically, they've been known to change over time.
The left naturally disagrees - but it has had a hard time defending its obsession with Israel - a fair word – with Israel's injustices when, as even Israel-obsessed leftists will acknowledge, there is much, much worse shit going on elsewhere in Asia, and in Africa and Latin America.
I couldn't care less of Israel I just hate the fact they have infiltrated our foreign policy. Israel dictate our foreign policy. For me it's very important any changes Made in our foreign policy affects the world. It affects a peasant farmer in China to the people working the lands in Cuba. When you have such influence where sitting U.S. senators and congess are more pro Israeli than us it's a problem. Through the usry of monetary means bribing congress one could make the argument that's it's treason. The notion that we shouldn't be worried that Israel spies on us it's rather sad when the media is conveying the message their our greatest ally. Yet no treaty has been signed. The truth the moment the U.S. Starts treating Israel as other nations all the turmoil in that region would cease due to the fact they would be hold accountable for their actions and and then we will see how much war rhetoric will bibi spit. If it was only Israel and no sugar daddy to support their war mongering endeavors perhaps they will be force to grant those stuck in an apartheid system freedom. They would force to face the UN at the criminal court. The more average Americans are awaken from their slumber about Israel exposing these truths it can change the political discourse and hold Israel accountable for its actions.actions. I'm coming from a different perspective, "Why are we allies?"; however using the same presence that the Israeli are in fact spying on us. Agreed, but the movement has started and the discussion about said spying through the Journalist like Glen Greenwald and Jeremy Schill occurring on main media outlets and discussed. There is no discussion occurring: regarding the Israeli spying on the US, being discussed on the media. I believe if the americans people knew about said spying the ramification that would be felt would be delightful to see those congress, senators, presidents, presidentials hopefuls charges with treason. I can only dream. lol
