Cfl per plant

    Newbie have a grow tent that is 3ft by 5ft And am planning on starting 3 plants and was curious how many watts per plant I should have and how many lights per plant also should I have lights surrounding the plants not just hanging over them?

    you want to by CFL or HPS or LED?  maybe you can ask in others thread, as ome firends here are very kind and will help you, lol

    you should be looking at 50-100watts a plant as a rough guideline.
    I would look into gettting an LED since they are stealing the market at the moment! if you have money to spend go to Advanced LED for imo the best LED on the market.
     
    Or if you dont have enough to buy that ferrai go with a Mars Hydro LED from the lady above this post, they kick ass :)

    This is what im doing with a little over 100 cfl watts per plant.

    Could be placed more efficiently.
    But a rough what to expect.
    Mines 3 1/2' x4' and about 4' high
