Safe listening volume?

  1. This seemed an approiate section, So I was wonder:
When using headphones in a Win 8 computer, what is a safe volume?

(Specifically Beats Studio 1.0 on a Surface Pro 2)

I normally use 2 or 4 (NOT 20 or 40) because that sounds loud. Anything above 18 is way too loud.
Im confused, because how is the recommended volume 50?? That would be deafening, probaly blow my headphones.

    Any help?

I feel like this is specific to both you and the computer. Just play music at what you're comfortable with [IMG]

  3. Is there a way to tell the db levels? I'm worried about unknowingly listening at too high a level and doing permanent damage. Doesn't sound very fun.
