is that right, then what do you consider a regulated market pertains to? And if taken away there will be no "war" Not a very good choice of words bro.my point is there is no difference in purchasing cannabis for the black market or a dispensery but the high ass taxes.i was receiving the same quality cannabis in my native state of OK as I do here in co.l witch I've lived for a good while now..nothing different at all but taxes witch is why I do not purchase cannabis from a shop nor do i purchase from the black market.i choose to actually know what is In my cannabis and where it comes from, start to finish.

  4. Well good for fucking you dude! Recreational cannabis is great, screw your black market mumbo jumbo. I don't care about paying the taxes, I really don't. I like buying legally, and yeah if Oklahoma and Nebraska win its not going to be pretty. We have worked so hard to get recreational cannabis, and Oklahoma, Nebraska, and numerous other states are jealous because colorado is making so much money! Go ahead and buy from the black market, when you get arrested, have fun!!

if high taxes don't matter to you then that as well makes your opinion irrelevant...now how well did chiming in help for you?

Obviously I'd prefer taxes be reasonable, they should find a middle point between taxing enough that it creates an incentive for it to be legal and keeping prices low enough that it competes with the black market.

Personally I'd be happy to pay a little more if it means no one has to worry about getting charged or fined for possession of a plant.

  10. yes those are the very reasons I live and Colorado and cultivated own cannabis.

  11.

Which is great for you, not everyone has that luxury :p

  12. Is it even constitutional for one state to try this sort of thing against another state?

  13. yeah. Unfortunately it is constitutional it is just not common practice and usually it goes through state courts, appeals etc etc and a judge hands it over to the Supreme Court but ok jumped heads and went straight to the Supreme Court. There will definitely be no "war" as the poster put if OK and Nebraska does win.. Nor will the blunt of judiciary mistake be that we will have no regulations here, the problem is other states will sue other states for serious problems.if Colorado is found responsible for Oklahomas problem then a state like vermont can sue new York if a gun manufacturered in ny kills someone in vt(witch states have actually tried to place blame on each other for situations like that in the past)that is the real worry in this legislature, only Colorado has brought up how we would end up with a unregulated market.the real problem is if a state can now determine what another state can do poses some serious judiciary problems.

They did the tax structure all wrong.  Taxes should have been very low to start and then rising over a period of years.  This would have pinched out the black market almost immediately.  Then after the black market infrastructure was crippled, they could have raised the taxes gradually but only to a reasonable amount.

  15. I disagree politely; that whatever tax was implemented was NEVER going to get every grower to come out.

Many in Colorado continued unabated, and utterly refused to come out.  The equipment was already invested, already purchased, and the location was obscure so why wave the flag of surrender?

It is supposed to be treated as beer.  Democrats and Republicans...  and the Independents all came together on this substance in compromise; it never removed the hidden agenda's.  Sheriff's who took land, property, assets and ruined people's lives over a plant and they used this plant as a means of financing themselves.  The voter of Amendment 64 made CHANGE happen.

We are far from done...  we need to remain on the Offensive and demand compensation from those Corporations operating on Colorado soil.

  16. Bought my first legal ever recreational weed up in Colorodo. Was a pretty smooth and cool process. They only allow 1/4 of weed per transaction. Easy way around that was to go to lunch come back and buy more.
