Heading to Vegas (First time)

So on Thursday my friend, his wife and I are heading to las vegas for vacation. Its our first time ever going on a trip like this for any of us and we only decided to go 2 weeks ago. We'll be renting a car and driving from the PNW itll be about 17 hours. We've booked a room at the Luxor for 3 nights and the only thing we're planning on doing is going to XS nightclub and playing some black jack. the only 2 nights are up for grabs and all the days. Just going to wing it.
 
so if anyone has any ideas on things we could do or should check out let me know. Any kind of travel tips would be cool. I know there's some seasoned people on here. Were each bringing about 200$ a day spending money, bud, oil and probably 5 or 6 bottles of liquor.
