Am I missing anything? Then like: Kelp meal(o)- Alfalfa meal(o)- EWC(o)- 1cu ft. 19$ home depot
yeah FF trio isn't organic. I use FF OF soil and perlite like 65/35 ratio. Plus FF trio. I don't add any amendments. how many plants are you planning on growing at once?
I got a friend willing to veg a plant at a time to 2feet. Ill talk him into more... But that's a free plant. He doesnt wanna flower it and doesnt smoke. Then what I veg. I want a duel setup after 1-2 harvests
How's the ffof,perlite, ff trio doing for you. Under what light? What brand of perlite did you go with. Seems everything around here is miracle gro.
Not trying to be a dick... But why do people spend $200 or morenon a closet grow??? .. Doesn't make any sense.. Your gunna yeild a half ounce with an auto .. 3 months from now .. After spending an additional $50 for your strain... Forget ffof you will kill your seeds/cuttings... Buy ff happy frog.. A light Fred mix.. Instead of trying to make a super soil (which takes months BTW) just pick up a GObox .. Unless you have to extra months to cook you compost and ammendments and vermicompost to get a living worm castings.. Honestly I would just buy your weed ...
I plan to get clones from a partner crop. I have homemade compost so I have super soil. I was prob gonna do 50/50 compost/ffof. Is a single gobox enough to cover a whole plant or plants clone to finish? I would just like to have some personal bud that I made, myself! In my house. I really enjoy taking the time to smoke. Getting out the buds breaking them up by hand(I have a nice metal grinder with keif filter) then splitting open the cigarillo and rolling it back up then relax and smoke.
Where did you get those statistics? I easily grow more weed in my closet than I could ever smoke by myself. Some people grow for high quality personal bud not to try to make a lil cheese on the corner.
Yea I have heard ffof is tuff at the beginning on plants. Use the compost and make a soil in my opinion. Just study on it. I'm jealous and starting my own compost soon. I made the wife a rolling composer a while back. I need to buy her a legit double soon.. Its like 150. For a double 55gal We have so much veg ends and scraps to compost..
Who said anything about selling it?.. Its about being cost effective .. And your not growing in 2x2x4after fans and lights .. 5 gal bucket takes up about 12" .. So now your growing a bonsai plant ... And im ure your closet grow is awesome so im not goin to argue with you.. I have spent PLENTY of time argueing with people on here and i dont personally care to argue anymore.. @Blade if you already composted then you can cut a month or so off that time but you still need a month to activate that soil after its mixed .. If you have 3/4 composted materials and no meats.. Throw redworms in it to aerate it extra .. And if that's the route you go then you don't need the go box.. I just prefer to avoid the bulk mixing and composting for a slightly sweeter flavor and Less maintenance.. I can get about six 3-4' mainlined hungry ladies out of a go box... Some strains eat more tho.. I just figured I'd throw the alternative out there so you could avoid the wait.. Cooking the super soil and using comp tea to feed the soil is healthier.. And if you make it an living soil it would be even better. Idk I just don't see the cost efficiency.. Your choice either way ... Smaller grows are meant to be super cheap and fast .. The issue with small grows is you don't get the light bouncing as much and its difficult to control heat.. I'm not a big fan of the mars 2 but atleast it will be cooler than a hid ... Your gunna need a oscillating fan for strengthen the stems or when you LST they won't heal right .. You'll need an inline duct fan to exchange the air in the tent. You'll need a carbon filter if you have foot traffic in that area of the house even if your legal its smart to not have a scent that attracts people.. People tell people... You'll need a thermo/hygro and and hangers for your light ... You will need to move that light frequently thru veg ... Best of luck bud .. What strain are the cuttings ?
I have some great compost to use but I was going to work on making some supersoil for less work in the long run. Its not about being cost effective but a sense of accomplishment about growing my own dank ass frosty buds and make the local dealers jelly they don't get dank ass frosty buds like me. I can rig up a fan for outtake with a carbon filter Then passive intake. Hygro and temp are pretty cheap. I'll keep in mind to run an oscillating fan on them while I LST. Not sure about the strain its still growing up. I picked them up from a friend of a friend and there growing at a partners house. I'll be growing clones off it in the box. Its not going to be a right now purchase so I have time to cook the soil. I'm looking at about one month more in veg then 2months flower so I have a while. To setup. My friends going to start a seed for me and veg it up to 1-1.5ft. He doesn't wanna flower just veg he doesn't smoke so he's just growing it to grow it.
