How often does your provider "switch it up"

Discussion in 'Marijuana Stash Box' started by Southeast stoner, Mar 29, 2015.

  1. For me there's are new strains every week, ranging from different types of "loud" and "mid". My particular dealer doesn't use names it's all either going to be called good or mid. He loves a variety so it's always something new. Here's a few pictures from this year. Cheers

  7. depends on who he gets it from and if they run out. had a mutual friend we got it off of so he always had some gsc. but now he gets it from oregon and buys bulk so he has what he has until he runs out and gets more.

  8. regg,mids,loud

loud would be medical shit basically. what some people would pay 20 a gram for. kush and such

  9. Flowers:
My designated provider has it's staples that are the focus of their lineup every run and they also have trials. Staples are about 10 strains they have dialed in to perfection that almost all of them have taken home at least one award for them. Then they have their trial strains that they'll rotate in and out of the garden. Trial strains introduced will see between 3-5 runs to see what they're capable of. For these strains to have a chance at becoming staples, they need to have superior traits, at least above average potency, and play a unique role amongst the other strains already in the lineup. They have one CBD strain they've added to their lineup, but are constantly testing others through analytical360 (a testing facility here in Washington State), in an effort to have items that work for most patients.

    Concentrates:
They have also brought in an extremely intelligent extractor for processing oils. Believe he has his M.D. as well as degrees in botanical sciences and other related fields. I spent a decent chunk of time discussing things with him at last years Dope Cup in Seattle. Unique personality and extremely intriguing listening to him speak. He carried around a big mag-lite flashlight he turned into an concentrate vape that still functions as a flash light and gave him monster vape clouds. Anyway, he does the extracting for my provider and runs some high clarity, extremely potent, and outstanding oils. A high CBD BHO run had the finished product test at 86.4% CBD, 5.18% THC, 1.56% CBG, & 2% Terps. Haven't seen anything come close to that in CBD for BHO yet.

    Full Plant Extract/RSO:
They continue to have RSO infused coconut oil capsules. One type for higher THC & another higher CBD. Love those things and thinking of getting some more here pretty soon if I don't decide to convert some of my BHO into capsules.

    Strains:
Will do my best to include as many of the staples/main strains they run currently or have previously. Trials aren't really necessary to name since they have run so many and they don't stick around long enough to really be worth mentioning.

Current Staples: White Label (Award winning Indica), Purple Kush (Award winning Indica), MK-Ultra (Newer edition, top 2 in potency), Dark Star (Newer edition, top 2 in potency), Chocolate Kush (Award winning Indica Hybrid), Blue Dream (Award winning Sativa Hybrid), Girl Scout Cookies (Award winning Sativa Hybrid), Matanuska/Alaskan Thunder Fuck (Award winning Sativa), Durban Poison (Award winning Sativa),

Unsure if New Staples, Current Trials, or Mislabled on other Dispensary Menus: Peaches & Cream, Cinex, Sunset Sherbet, Grapefruit, Tangerine, Mad Scientist

Former Staples: Grape Ape (Former staple that has been removed due to a better replacement), Tabia (former staple, same reason as Grape Ape)

Former Trials Strains (I've Tried): White Lite, Blackberry Kush, Snoop's Dream, Oregon Skunk, Chiesel

I'm sure there are many others I missed, but this should give you a good idea. I know members of my designated provider have won awards for their edibles too, but have never had any, so I can't begin to start listing those. At least one award won at last year's dope cup though for an edible. If there's anything I ever want to try, throw into the mix of my medicine cabinet, other types of products, I'm right down the street from 3 dispensaries on the same road (and side of that road), so it's easy for me to swing by all 3 easily, and then go to the convenience store on the other side of the road before heading back the other direction towards my house. A lack of options isn't an issue. Probably have access to about 100 flower strains, 25+ concentrate strains, 40-50 different types of edibles, tinctures/capsules/what-have-you, at any given time. Most of what I get is from my main provider though. Everything else is used to just keep some options open.

  10. I have access to maybe 30 or so strains ranging from what most would consider "loud" to the tippy top shelf, best of the best. They change regularly, but 8-10 are normally always available, stuff like cookies, blue dream, and at least a couple OG cuts.
