To transplant or wait 2 weeks?

  1. What's up guys?

I have 2 and a half plants finishing up in one tent in 7 gal smart pots and in the other tent I have 5 clones and 2 seedlings.

The clones and small plants are in 2 gallon smart pots and they're maxing them out I think. I just mixed new soil today

    2cuF total roughly

Per cF of 1 part peat 1 part ewc 1 part perlite

    1 cup dry organic fertilizer
    2 cups kelp meal
    1 cup alfalfa meal
    1 cup crab meal
    1 cup lime

Should I let it "cook" a little? Or can I put my plants in that? They grew up in a similar mix. I may have waiting a little long, but I think the best bet for me to maximize yield and use of space is to cut clones off the little ones I have then a srog the mothers in 7 gal smart parts and flower.

So that's my goal I hope it make sense I just smoked some of the fruit punch I grew 😄 took a small cut that I accidentally snapped off. Good but the extra week or two will do it right. I was disappointed with yield of one plant and I don't think the last two will be much better. Maybe my soil needs rock dust.

  2. I'd wait a couple of weeks and at least let the alfalfa cool down some.

    YMMV

    Wet

  3. Ok I hope the other plants will be ok until then. Should I take clones and let t recover then transplant or transplant then take clones?

  4. I'd take the cuttings now personally. She should recover fine in several weeks and then you're ahead of the game; not shocking a freshly transplanted plant - although they're pretty resilient.

  5. Ok cool good to know. Thanks for your answers. I'll cut and shape em up for the scrog then transplant and put em under it

  6. Wish I could help with the screen but I've never used one before. I've been seeing some nice results from one of our members that's using one right now though - it's quite impressive.

    Good luck with your garden.

  7. Yeah it will be my first time. The plants o have now might be a little big to start but I'm gonna take my time on this one and go for a nice yield.
