Bringing Weed on Roadtrip?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by unitz, Mar 28, 2015.

  1. Ok, so i live in FL and am going to MA for a month this summer and i have to drive up. I was wondering if its sketchy driving with weed for that long? should i do it? I'm thinking about doing it but part of me says no. I also don't know anyone who smoked up in MA where I'm going so it will be really hard to get tree. any tips/advice? thanks

Watch it. All of it. And learn.

Edit: The good stuff starts at about 13:30

  3. roadtripped this past summer from FL along the south to NM then to Colorado then back to FL. was carrying 6 spliffs on the way to Colorado, and picked up 2g in Colorado and brought it with me back to FL, everything was fine, just put it in your luggage in your trunk and obey all traffic laws and you'll be golden

  4. It's probably not wise. But I can guarantee I would have some with me. Just don't take a massive quantity. Good luck, just use common sense.

  5. Bring a mason jar and don't give cops any reason to think you're holding.
    I would do it.

  6. i wana get an o cuz ill be there for a month, probably longer. i need a big jar lol

Well it's certainly not as long as your trip but I make an 8 hour trip both ways smoking a joint every hour on the hour pretty regularly.

I'd leave at like 11PM to Midnightish.  Push "avoid major highways" on my GPS and take the DESERTED backroads all the way to my location.  It's dark, so you can see cars coming miles away which gives you time to make sure you're abiding the law and can't get pulled over for something stupid.

I personally love it.  It's so relaxing driving deserted roads for 8 hours, smoking, my dog comes with me so we make frequent stops for her to pee, and just listening to music.  Met a lot of real cool dudes on these trips at the various gas stations I stopped at.  So many free spirits wandering around wanting a ride "as far as you'll take me mannnn".  Fuckin awesome.

  11. I wouldn't do it, it's really not worth it. Having gotten away with it several times but busted once, it's honestly not worth it in hindsight. Be smart.

YOU HAVE TO. its not a road trip if theres no bud bro. this is a no brainer, theres so many ways to hide it and plus if you do get pulled over which just don't do anything illegal driving and that won't happen, but just stash it man, they cant really search your car unless it smells. and if it does smell, bring some ozium and you can spray that. but if your sketching just don't bring it man its all up to you, you can just smoke when your there or when you get back.

  13. good shit man

  14. I was driving from tx to ct and got pulled over in Virginia. Cop wanted to search my car since I was from Tx, saying I may have some currency. So don't break the laws, expect to get pulled over and searched and you will be fine

Don't hot box. Try and smoke outside the car

  15. I drove with a half ounce in my trunk from Denver to florida. aslong as u do not convey yourself to be sketchy and follow all traffic laws u will be fine
