Hey guys, I've asked this before and wasn't able to get much help. I recently bought a liter of Spirit Bong Vodka that is imported from Holland. The bottle itself is obviously meant to be drilled out to be turned into a bong. Anyway, here are the questions I have: 1.) What length should the downstem be for this build? (i've measured it out to be 3 inches from where i will drill (the space where the grommet goes) to the base of the bong (and yes this measurment was angled at the angle I would like to have the downstem)). 2.) When buying a downstem is the specified length of the downstem for the whole downstem (top to bottom)? or the length of the portion of the downstem after the joint where the bowl goes in?
Why don't u takes the bong with you to the shop and put different size downstem a beside the bong to see what fits the way you like it. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Answer to Question 1, the length you want is really down to you and the bong, it just needs to go from the hole that you are placing it in to a point in your bong where it will be under water. Answer to Question 2, the length is the legth, the entire thing. DH Gate sells cheap ones and i think you can get packs of 5 various sizes so that may be worth a look? Hope this helped. Chef.

That's dumb that they asked you to leave.... Don't need to shop there anymore. Glass blowers direct has downstems as short as 2 or 3 inches for about $8. i use them alot. Google it.
