    Yea man confront that guy and get your $20 back. He may try to come up with more excuses but If $20 is a lot to you then u may need to threaten him or just beat his ass right there. In order to prevent all this next time just don't front the money.

    A less violent option: mark it off as a learning experience and continue on with your life
