Hello everyone, I had an accident (noob mistake) and cracked the main stem while training her. I tied her back together to close the wound, but it's been a week and she still looks the same. Everything I have read said I should see a nice knott there by now. The wound didn't turn black till after the first day, but I suspect that's because the light was on it? I have since blocked the light from the wound while maintaining air circulation. I also read that honey can be used as an anti-septic for wounds, so I put that on for the first couple of days. The good news is that she's not wilting, but I think she's slowed down quite a bit. The only thing I can think of doing is cutting out the "burnt" flesh, and hopefully she'll bleed a bit and then fill it in? I have attached a zoomed in pic to see the carnage. any input is greatly appreciated Thanks Edit: hmmm, i don't seem to see my attached photo. I have uploaded it and linked to it now.
That's nothing, let it heal, I cut one of my main stems in half with a plant tie, thought no way it would survive. Pulled itself upright and has been healing for over a week with no difference from the other stems. Last plant spilt itself vertically on the main stalk between 2 stems that were trained aggressively, the outside never healed fully but finished with no ill effects. Split is between top 2 stems attachment=1731559:ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1427427996.551564.jpg] Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
