if its potent and very crystally, and you are relatively close to the grower (minimal abuse to the weed/loss of trichomes) then an eighth will get you a gram of kief. its not like the most cleanest in my grinder unless i do it gram by gram, because it is a smaller cylinder and does not thoroughly rotate all the weed, but most screens will tear up some particulate into the keif no matter what, especially if you use a coin. i suggest not using a coin as it can beat the weed to a point where it isnt use-able anymore, which also means way more plant matter, which will make it weigh more, and it wont press as well. regardless keif is keif and will get you baked lol
