hi there this is my first time on gc and also my first ever grow journal and i have just started a indoor grow in a 1.2m x 1.2m x 2m grow tent running a 20 liter dwc bucket . I have a 400w mh light for veg am i am going to use 2 400w hps for flowering. the nutrients i am using is the Dutch Master Advanced line. my Ph level will be kept between 5.5 and 6.5 and my water temp will be between 16c and 24c As said by the title i am growing a special kush #1 from royal queen seeds. i Have never grew this strain before but have gorwn master kush before and it was amazing and i am hoping that this strain will be just as good if not better. My plan for this plant is top it as much as possible and try a scrog method to help gain a better yeild however i have never scroged before and i am not sure how long it will take in order to fill my space.. if the vegation for this plant becomes to long, like around 6 weeks i will possibly just flip to flower early. I am open to suggestions ( with proof ) that could possible make my harvest a better one. my plant atm is only 1 week from seed so i will be posting pictures in the future for this plant. I am also looking for anyone out there that has grown special kush #1 before who has any advice for this strain. my Photos of the plant will be up for the start of week 2 which wil be on the 30/3/2015. keep smoking, stay chilled................shagshop
hey i know my pics are over due and well..... everything was fine i checked my plant then like 1hr later i felt like checking again i dont know why but there she was droopy and rusty leaves i checked my ph and bamm it was at 5.0 so i dumped my nutes and water clean up and refill just plain water ph down to 5.8. so now my baby is in recovery and she stood right back up in 1hr but the leaves are so ruined she only has 3 sets so i am hoping that by the end of next week my baby will have defently have grown and i should be able to put up some decent pics on the 12th of april 2015. after researching a bit before i started this dwc i was under the impression that my water temp should be between 70f and 80f ( so much b/s info about this stuff it crazy) ... however i had experinced root rot and algae........so right now i am not happy and quite honestly have the shits, its at this time i drop my water temps to 65f and i am not letting it rise above 70f or drop below 60f . so with my water at 65f and my ph at 5.8 my plantis now standing happy and like i said before i am just waiting for some new growth caint wait i am now cheacking my ph and water 3 times a day morning/day/night lol keep smoking, stay chilled................shagshop
