Halp? Working @ Target?

    Aight so Im applying at Target for a job.
     
    I know they for sure drug test when they first hire/interview you.
    But does anyone know how often they drug test after that? If at all?
     
     
    Today is 3/23. Last time I smoked was 3/13 cuz I have a drug test on 3/26 (Wish me luck)
    So I have no doubt that I'll pass the Target initial drug test but IDK if it's worth working there if I get drug tested on a regular basis :(
     
    Any info from current/former Target workers?

    I'm pretty sure they don't test after the first one. I had a buddy that worked at target and smoked on the daily, and he never said anything about them testing after the first one he took to actually get the job.

    There is a (small) possibility that it works differently in different states or cities, but I highly doubt it. You should be good to go my man :)

    I don't know how reliable this is, but according to this site the answer is no drug tests after employment.

    I've never worked entry level retail, so I have no first hand experience. If I had to guess, I'd say most retailers of their size would drug test for pre-employment and then if an accident occurred on the job. I know a shit ton of people that worked at Wal Mart and smoked at the same time.

    For an associate, I would assume it's only pre-employment and that's it.

    I worked there seasonally unloading trucks and was never tested. every store might be different though

    Just eat a hello lot of lettuce and drink tons of battle juice and you will be as dry as yeast

    No they don't after the initial test. - my 7 year ETL at a local target exp lol

    Most jobs will only test you again if you get injured on the job so you can't sue them.
