Hey guys, I made a little growbox to start again and found a few bag seeds, here is where I am at now. I would love lots of advice and things that i could change to get the best out of what i have. [IMG]
I decided to top it out of curiosity of what this kind of plant would do.

  2. Bump: I would like some advice if here is any to be given please :) is it being so squat normal?

  3. @ Sativa Scotty, thanks for the input, any advice for switching to flower, i know 12/12 or 16-8 but indicas anything special about them like do they take longer to form flowers, or should i expect a growth spurt?

Just flip to 12/12 when your ready. The nice thing about indicas is they don't spike as tall which is good for confined spaces AND total flower period is typically a little shorter. Maybe 8 weeks depending on strain.

All cannabis spike during flower. For indicas be prepared for at least double the height.

  5. If you're using cfl like I am I would do lst in order to get an even canopy of buds. Cfl has poor penetration and lower buds won't get enough light for big colas.

Can you direct me to a nice tutorial for LSting, i topped her but i can see that the lower shutes are not getting enough lights, i got about 12k lumens in CFLS with mixed spectrum .

and could i start LSTing with a thick stock? shes gettin up there in age

  7. That's a healthy amount of lumens. For 1 plant I vegged with 6400L and have added 3200L in flower for side lighting. Check out my grow journal. You'll see I lst'd after 45 days. Could've done it earlier but it worked

How many plants & how big is your space?

  8. Alright I'll check it out right as we speak, thanks for the advice!!!

Bump/Update: well here are a few pics, i initiated the 12/12 cycle about 5 days ago, starting to look like is gonna show preflowers soon. what do you guys think, did a bit of trimming, the lower shutes are not a priority to me since they dont get much light but i made a 3 top main cola canopy what do you think?

  12. Any ideas on when she should start spitting out hairs?

  13. I saw this post last night and i thought i replied but i guess not. I just wanted to say that your doing a great job so far, some nice looking plants you have there. As far as when she should start flowering, it will be easier to answer if you know the strain. The strain name and if its an autoflower or not.

  14. Looks like you're set for 3 nice colas. You just topped once & no lst? That's a pretty even canopy.

It takes a few days to see any changes but when you do be prepared to raise the lights!

I just topped a seedling for the first time and plan on lst'ing the pair of stems. Check my pic and see how many stems came up just from a simple bending of the main stem. 5 colas! ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1429246748.310089.jpg
