Dabbing w/o rig (update)

Discussion in 'Concentrate Tools' started by thehighkite, Mar 23, 2015.

  1. Okay, so I have read around before posting this and saw the posts regarding this topic...but they seem outdated. Are there any ways to dab without a rig that are more efficient than hot knifing?
(I have an ecig attachment that dabs, but idk if it's the best way to go)
Any and all useful comments are appreciated.

hmm... I'm sure a google search on "how to dab without rig" would prove for you to have faster results than asking here.
    just my 2 cents

P.S. trust me, they aren't outdated. dabbing has exploded across the U.S. over the last half a decade; it's not illogical thinking to conceive that maybe someone between now and 2010 has posted a similar question.

  3. Can't dab without a rig but there are ways to smoke it witout a nail and rig

  4. Hot knifes is how I used to smoke hash

    Chef.

  5. I am trying to avoid using knives because I have a bong. I think I'm just going to get a nail and be done with it.

  6. a spoon works better, just don't get that shit too hot.

  7. A little dab attatchment isn't that hard to come by, especially if your bong has a glass on glass downstem. Any local smoke shop worth their weight in salt should have them.

At the time, I just didn't want to get off my lazy ass to go to a store and get one haha. I ended up getting a shitty Ti nail, but I just ordered a rig and a Quartz nail. Should be coming within the week. I'm kinda excited.

  9. Quartz is pretty damned nice. I use a quartz domeless on my mini rig. I love the flavor it puts out. Of course, it heats up faster than a Ti nail, but it doesn't hold the heat for as long. A tradeoff im fine with.

  10. depends on the quality and thickness of quartz you have. My qcb retains heat just as well as any ti I have ever had

  11. very true. While my quartz isn't "coke bottle" thick, it holds heat well enough. And ive had this domeless for about 8 months now and still doing its job.

  12. Glad I went with Quartz lol
