CB 0109- Re-criminalizes possession of marijuana in Denver (Ordinance aims to make it unlawful to allow more than 36 marijuana plants)- NORML CO

Discussion in 'Marijuana News' started by FrankTheTank28, Mar 22, 2015.

  1. No bueno

"“Marijuana plant includes “all parts of the plant genus cannabis, whether alive or dead“, and any “seeds, leaves, stalks, and flowers”. The ordinance makes it unlawful “to allow more than 36 marijuana plants….” (e.g a seed, a flower, a leaf, a stalk) “to be possessed or cultivated” on any zone lot. How does re-criminalizing marijuana promote safety within the Denver community? If a seed, a leaf, or a flower is a “marijuana plant” then, according to this ordinance, you may not possess, or allow to be possessed more than thirty six of them on any zone lot in the city. What?? Can't an adult possess up to an ounce?"

This will never pass in Denver. It's repugnant that they would even try though. These mother fuckers are straight evil.

It does not make cannabis illegally. It is only for non licence cultivators. Basically saying you can not grow over 36 plants in one building. It raises concerns to multi home property owners because if everyone is growing there allowed 12 plants it would make him responsible for violating a new ordinance. It is wrong to do that and wrong to not have a public hearing but does not have a significant affect to the cannabis laws that are in place.. I'm still going to be able to grow my allowed plants and so are licensed cultivators. Yes it is wrong but does not recrimnalize cannabis. .that is an embellishment of the b.s. ordinance

  5. This is how the ordinance is written

  6. Wait...so ANYONE can grow up to 36 plants? That sounds pretty fair?

  7. unfortunately no..what they are saying is there can not be more then 36 plants in one zoning lot so if a landlord to say a apartment building has enough people growing in his apartments then he is held accountable.. still under the same 6 plant 3 in flower law..the new ordinance really does not effect anyone but big building, big grow and illegal grows that are not licensed..heat the issue is is what they are Labeling any is any is plant. There saying any stock, leaf or seed is considered a plant

    Oh...what the fuck. That's...uhh....ridiculous.
Seed as a plant? Bahahah My god. Who are the people that come up with these definitions/descriptions?

  9. yeah the entire ordinance is alarming, especially how it is not a open hearing.. how can an amendment64 state law that allows us to have as much finished product as we want in our homes but a city ordinance basically declare it all as plants..a total wtf..

  10. Oh my goodness, unlimited product?? *drool*

  11. Yeah the plant limit is small but it basically allows us to grow them as big and wide as we want..some city's have grow space size limits and there is a city who just made a height requirement far as how high they can be to the ceiling but that is for fire safety reasons for lights. But we are all suppose to be allowed to have as much finished processed cannabis we want in our homes..that is what the law says far as the state goes.
