  1. Hello GC users. This is my second year growing and I'm aiming for greenhouse growth by for now I got them under some sort of blue led light. Its not blue but has blue on the bulb. It was recommended. What was also recommended was this fish fertilizer...I was wondering when do I use it ... And how... Lol. I feel as if my plants are nothing but they are only 2 or 3 weeks old... Have a look for yourself... Any advice or help or anything is appreciated and very well considered. Thanks guys !!

  2. Lower your lights...it looks like your using cfls so u can have the light pretty close..After a few days they should be looking better

  3. Can you provide any more information on those lights? They don't look like LEDs. They look like incandescent lights. The plants are stretching because they aren't receiving light that is intense enough. Having them closer would be better but more suitable lights is what you need

  4. Bongo, You may want to replant them and bury those long stems about 1/2 into soil to make the stems shorter and stronger. Also don't neglect to have a light fan aimed toward them to make them move and strengthen the stem. I agree they are too far from whatever light you have. Good luck, mate.

  5. Yo thank you guys for your replies!! I knew something was up with em.. Yes ur right they are not led. I wanna say UV?...WILL UPLOad a pic soon... Gotta go make those lights higher and buy bigger pots tomorrow!! Hope it isn't too late!!! Wish this forum had some sort of notification as well... I had to dig for my thread....again I'm new to growing and this forum.. The again guys gonna make modifications... Will keep u posted!

  6. I'm sub in man to help you out. ..trying using cfls and lower then as close as possible. .

  7. What are CFLs? A kind of fluorescent light? Right now I got these 120 watt whatever they are... Are they too close to the lamp? I plan on potting these into only slightly bigger pots to shortrn thr stem length and to keep them in same place until weather gets warmer... The ones to the left are germinated seedlings coming in..... I watered the lengthy ones before moving them closer to light for the night so they seem a bit droopy. Anything else I should look out for.... For anybody's information... I have them in miracle gro soil... I know it wasn't the best choice but I stupidly wung it...

  8. Those are bad for indoor grows...they don't put out enough light at the right temperature. .cfl are compact fluorescent lamps look for them at a hardware store like lowes or home depot... 100 w or 200 w they don't get hot so you can have them close to the plan... I'll post a pic of my grow box to show what they look like

  9. Your plants are stressed and stretching looking for the light..that's your problem

  10. I'll get the 200w bulbs tmrw as well then. Good lookin out brotha Mon!

  11. No problem man...that's what we're here for

  12. I hope! Cuz I'm pretty sure I'll be back posting another question .. I have books but my ADHD kills me... I need direct answers lol... I'm gonna post what I got tomorrow hopefully you can check it out.

  13.
Your lights are incandescent lamps and they are not suitable for growing. CFLs are the "energy saving" types. Get some that are at the least 20w each but you want them as big as possible. 100w & 200w bulbs won't fit in your fittings though, they use e40 fitting that is much bigger

  14. There is a 100w cfl in middle and 2 150w cfl on each side... How r they lookin now guys?

  15. Still gotta finda small fan to put in there.... I have a vornado fan but they don't call it that for nothing...

  16. Drop them lower and add more light as they grow...cfls are small and you can add like 30 and the temperature will be ok...I took a computer apart and took the vent fan out..it's small but it's better then nothing in your case

  17. CFLs need to be like 2-3 inches away. With 9 plants your going to quickly need lots more light. 100 actual watts of CFLs per plant. Not equivalent watts.

  18. How's my bill gonna look with CFLs... I now have 5 surround them. Not home rn but there are 2 150 watt for each 4 pots....FOR NOW... 2 fans going and everything seems good for now. Thanks guys!!! I will add more lights with each paycheck... Only thing is now my dads starting to think the house is gonna burn down...and he's not the best compromiser...he's an angry polock so wish me luck! Will stay in touch...the again guys.. GREAT HELP REALLY !! :) :)

  19. Cfls are very cost efficient. . Your bull won't change by much. That's a fact.. and you won't burn your house down. Cfls don't put out much heat you can actually touch the blub
