Taking my first T-break

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by YungCrisp, Mar 17, 2015.

  1. Hello GrassCity community!

I am very new to these forums, so please bear with me (sorry in advance for long post).

This week I am taking my first tolerance break, and I wanted some suggestions as to how long you all think I should abstain for.

Let me tel you a little about myself:
I am 6'4" (1.9304m) and only weigh 170 lbs, and have one of the fastest metabolisms in the world.
I started smoking just 2 and a half years ago (I am 19 now) and for the first year I probably smoked a total of 10 times, the next year about 1 or 2 times a month, then the past 6 months I have been at college I would toke at least once a day every day.

Up until about the last 2 months or so, I would get obscenely high every time I smoked, to the point where I was almost incoherent (2 friends and I would split a .75 J every night and all be completely baked). Now these past give or take two months I have noticed I really had not been getting that high, so I made us an amazing Gravity Bong that would only take a two or three hits to get us ripped (side note: I let a girl that didn't smoke much hit it one time, and she tripped all night and I literally had to just hold her for 5 hours while she cried because she was "floating in space afraid she would break it"). However I could probably take 6-8 full hits and be contently high, and obviously that is just a bit excessive.

I am on spring break right now and decided not to smoke at all over it (9 days total) but I wanted to know if that would really affect my tolerance much. I have been reading it takes 28 days for a "full reset" but considering how significantly higher I used to get from everyone else that smoked the same amount, and how quickly my body metabolizes.. basically everything (I passed a drug test after smoking just 10 days prior and didn't really do anything to try and clean my system), I wanted to know how much longer (if at all) I should stay away from blazing until I get riiipped again, and what methods can I do to speed up this process?

Tl;DR - How long should a heavy toker with a fast metabolism take off blazing to get really high again? And what can I do to lower my tolerance even quicker?

    Stay drifting my friends [IMG]

  2. eh i wouldn't really say .75g a day is heavy smoking. 4 days and youll get completely baked the next time you smoke. Wait longer if you want your tolerance to go up slower though. Cheers[IMG]

  3. Forgive me, in the beggining that is what we were smoking. The past 2 months or so we probably smoked about 3g's a day, which isn't a massive amount, but enough to make me not feel it nearly as much as I used to.
