has anyone ever mainlined a sativa dominant plant? i'll be mainlining C99 plants even though i've read that indica dominant plants are better for this technique. just curious.
I never did mainlining but found this on here.... http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1354188-Mainlining-tutorial
Here it is. Not mainlined as neat as others. I've seen some cats do the perfect T. Donkey dick has always reliably yielded a pound and a half per 20 gallon pot. Mainlining yielded me very very close to two pounds.
just found out about this tech. ill be trying it next grow 100% I half ass did this time(my first gro) on accident. I have very limited hight so this seems perfect to me. any one have any tips? my jurno: http://forum.grasscity.com/indoor-medical-marijuana-growing/1362472-first-indoor-gr0w-pictures.html
If your going to run longer branches from the manifolds (I did 5 footers) get ready to support them. Also, if using twistie ties keep in mind that they cut into the branches
ill probably use twine or soft twist ties. the manifolds? not sure what this means. yet.( is this the length of two mainlines after the 3rd node) but ok what would be a good support for them.
OK that's what o was figuring. I'm just finishing my first grow but my next one I'm going to do one of two plants this way see ho it goes.
About a month ago I finished a blue mountain durban which is 75% sativa. It did great with the mainlining and I had my highest yield so far! I am mainlining all of my girls going forward.
I have a super lemon haze outdoor journal started up I'm mainlining her as soon as she is big enough. Only day 2 seedling still fresh to the world. Although I'm not a 100% I could be a blue cheese strain but I think its lemon haze. Hopefully she's a beast. Prolly will be shot as its my first time and only my second grow but we will see. I'm excited. Hey poke got and pics?
I have a SourCream ready to harvest in two days. I think she is mostly sativa. She tripled in size after going 12/12 got to big for my grow box. Now 40" tall. This was my first try at ML and I very much love doing it. Got a new one in the oven. Here she is, oops can't post them right now will get back in a mim. Sent from my iPad using Grasscity Forum
loooks great. i cant wait to try ML. i have a slemno haze im gonna do outdoor this summer. shes still a babby right now, waiting till shes big enough to top. how did the soft zipties work. i just bought a thing of it for mine.
ah i see, honestly i think i have some in the barn. but ill try out the soft ties if they work ill use them. im pretty much just going to read the nebulahaze nugbucketz manifesto when this little seedling gets big enough. barley has 2 nodes right now
Soft ties are fine. I only used the wire was because I wanted to run the wire all the way to the bottom of the pot so it would hold the branch down. And wire is cheap as shit. My next grow (soon) will be in a bigger pot and I'll run the stems all the way to the edge of the pot so there will be more room in the center of the cluster for light and air to get in. Also you can't get away with letting the plant grow up without some kind of support. Tthe stems on plant (now harvested) were to heavy with buds I had to run string all the way around it several times to get the stems back upright. Enjoy life, it's short as hell, V
right i dug 20 gallon holes and have had them cooking for 2 months now. im going to put steaks in the ground all around like a scrog but juts use rope around tight to keep them up right.
i hope so lol. i use 15g for indoor so went a little bigger for my out door. yesterday i cleaned some trim and found two seeds (critical jack and african kush) popped them in some cloth and they are already almost ready for a small planter. guess i need to dig another hole lol.
