Longest Positive Test Period

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by HoosierLand, Mar 16, 2015.

  1. Research! What's the longest it took you to pass? Post stats on body type and smoking habits too please!

  2. THC is fat soluble. if you are overweight and/or have a slow metabolism, it's going to take longer.

  3.
    Duh, not the question asked

    Wow.  Douche.

Somebody claimed they smoked daily for 30 days, stopped, and failed 40 days later.

The title isn't random facts about drug testing. Attempting to get a solid sample of numbers. 9/10 posts on this site have the info he posted. Did you also know the sky is blue?

Thanks for the info Cheeto, the biggest topic on this board is full of people taking tests but no one ever ends up reporting back. Trying to get more relevant info instead of "will I pass".

Yeah, from the research I've done over 30-40 days is very much possible but extremely uncommon. Seems like combo of overweight and daily smoker got that person. Still interested in results or experiences from others :)

Also, I'll be updating my ongoing personal testing to see when I test clean. At day 16 currently.

  9. I was getting tested at a pain clinic.  I tested positive at 18 days, then again at 45 days, then again at 60.  I don't know what the cutoff is, but it's an instant test.  Pee in the cup and it shows five drugs and temperature.  I was 160 lbs, a woman, and a slow metabolism. I had not smoked but once as I was trying to be clean to get my meds.

Let me get this right, you only smoked once and tested positve after 60 days?! I managed to pass an at home after 16 days diluted, but I used to smoke daily. What were your methods day of? First pee in the morning? Any dilution?

p.s. Not sure if there's any evidence to back this but it seems like women are more susceptible to longer testing periods. Perhaps the standard higher % body fat than the same size man?

Yes, once then positive 60 days later.  What I didn't mention I was only clean 18 days the first time.  Before that I had been smoking daily for two months.  I have a good load of body fat and have read women test positive longer than men.  I didn't substitute or dilute.  I really thought I would be clean.  I had tested clean before after one month.
So Hoosierland you've got it right about women vs men.

I've ended up abstaining and skipping the pain clinic in favor of smoking.

Well first of all, dipshit, I presented the equation. EVERY HUMAN BEING is going to rid it from their system using that equation. So if you're just asking random people how long it takes them, I have no idea what you are trying to accomplish for yourself. Go ahead, continue to retort in an ignorant manner.

  13. Well when I was at school and I used to get tested, I would only smoke occasionally in an arbitrary schedule that I thought would prevent me from getting caught, but one time I messed up and smoked three joints two days before a test. I drink Yogi Detox tea on a regular basis, and miraculously I passed. I weighed prolly like 140 or so and I had a mega high metabolism from the military style workout regimen I was during the past year. It was most likely a mistake, but hey, my ass was saved. No telling tho.

I was a daily smoker for 3 years (one small bowl of quality medical) and stopped the day I got laid off. I am fairly thin and fast walk on a treadmill about 3-4 times per week. I'm also in my early fifties.

At 3 weeks I failed an at-home test for first void of the day.

I tested again at 5 weeks (not first void) and the line was a very faint pass so I mailed it in and will find out the results definitely next week when I call the lab. I'll try to update what I find.

Update 3/24: It came back negative at 5 weeks.
