Next James Bond?

  1. Which actor would you like to see as the next James bond?

  2. That's nearly a decade away. Maybe more even. It's way too early for me to make a call like that. The right dude for the job might not even be famous yet.

  3. Nicholas Cage

I don't think it's going to be nearly that long.  The last I had heard, he signed up for 2 more movies after Skyfall.  The first of which is Spectre, coming out this year.  Meaning about 2-4 years until the last Craig film and they begin casting.

  5. Maybe. But we don't know for sure the next one will be his last. I really hope it isn't actually. That dude is a perfect bond.

  6. Time to wynd the dude up ...this and like many leftovers are way passed their sell by date ...
others include bbc top gear, coro street ..actually anything British

and do away with the compulsory uk govt. license fee and fuck that socialistic aspect of media brain washing ..?

I think it's pretty inevitable.  Craig isn't interested in the role anymore.  He didn't even want to make these 2 movies, I doubt he'd sign on for more.  The guy famously told  Rolling Stone that he's been trying to get out of the role since he landed it.  And I don't think he has a very good relationship with the producers.  He knows his current contract was the result of the popularity of Skyfall and knows Broccoli/Wilson will wipe their ass with is contract (his words) should future films not do as well.  By the time Bond 25 comes out Craig will have been Bond for 12-13 years.  Only Moore was Bond for that long, and the only reason he did was out of loyalty to Cubby.  Craig does not have the same relationship with Cubby's heirs.

I'll miss Judi as M.  I'll admit, I was a bit of a hater at first.  Because they didn't really do her character any favors.  They made her an unlikable manhater who went on tirades in which she expressed her disgust at everything we love about James Bond.  At times she was almost a minor enemy.  But over time they did make the character better and improved her relationship with Bond.  I especially loved her relationship with Craig's Bond.  It was all a little too much to swallow at first though.  Having grown up with Bernard Lee, whose M apparently once had a wild night in Tokyo with Bond and some girls.
