Hey everyone, I know you guys are probably tired of seeing my name I just love sharing my limited knowledge so maybe I can help a stoner out there, also love to learn new things as well. So today I cleaned my grinder, what I normally do is take a safety pin and try and collect as much stuck on material out ( mainly kief) and put it in my kief tray, like so Next I take apart my grinder and get the middle piece( mine is a three part with a screen in the second one) and shake a little bit in a small amount of ISO alcohol, I use 91% the best I can get, it works fine and the other 9% is water. Anyways take the middle part submerge in ISO and all the kief will come off. This is my personal results of the stuff stuck in the nooks and crannies. Now just let it evaporate naturally and enjoy what you would of normally just washed down the drain with water! Also look how nice and clean my grinder is now. As you can see the color is pretty on point so far, still a good bit of moisture in there, it's the left over water, all the alcohol has evaporated and smells good. This about 3 hours later. Damn that iso looks pretty bomb, every time iv ever made iso with bud its turned out weird lol but i have only used really bad tree/trimmings. Only good tree in my grinder tho so hopefully when i do it itl turn out like yours. Sent from my iPad using Grasscity Forum
It's all about quick washes with ISO when It comes to bud/trim. And not being to vigorous. Here's it all pilled up some what, I do this to make the collection process easier, make sure you keep it a thin layer so it dries properly -Appreciate what you got cause one day it can all be gone-
